During the flashback, when Zeke passed the ball to Eren and he dropped it, it was to show that Eren was not in agreement with Zeke's plan. This gave Zeke doubts of Eren's allegiance. Great storytelling here.

Eren declared a 4000 direct ATK and Zeke actually activated a counter Magic cylinder but we dont know the next ep what card Eren have to negate that effect.
I believe that Eren didn’t want zeke to scream in case his friends drank the wine or were near people who had drank it(which would kill them or really hurt them)

For context, this episode adapted chapter 119 and the first 2/3rds of chapter 120 of the manga (there are 139 chapters total).
Also, based on the reported episode count of this cour (apparently 12 episodes), and the current pacing of the season, it’s unlikely this cour will actually adapt to the end of the manga, current estimate is that it will reach up to around chapter 131-132. Seems very likely the final chapters of the manga will adapted into a finale movie instead.
