    I got a scram 411 in October with zero riding experience I originally wanted the Himalayan but when I saw them both in person I chose to go with the scram, I'm 5'5 and the Himalayan seemed more intimidating, I now have 1900 miles on my scram it's the perfect bike for shorter riders it handles great and is all around a fun bike to ride, not to mention anytime I pull into get gas someone always compliments the look of the bike.

      How do you find it filtering in traffic? I’m looking to get into riding and really like the look of this bike, but will mainly be using it for city riding (so lots of traffic)

      @@friktionrc I live in a small city its perfect for the traffic around here but dont expect to overtake anyone going 60+ its not a speedy bike by any means but its a perfect bike to go exploring on I take it into the woods or the parkway its alot of fun especially if you want something that can go offroad as well.

      @@pizzadog1814 Thanks for the reply ....didnt realise it was that slow, but to be fair, there arent many roads around my way that we can do +60mph as its town/inner city.The few roads we used to be able to all have speed cameras on them...but that aside I'm a bit sad to hear it doesnt have that much poke as part of the reason of getting a bike is to pass slow drivers when safe to do so. Re of road...yeah I've always loved scramblers but will need to see if there are any places I can ride, or clubs to join up with.Thanks again for the info, much appreciated. Enjoy your new toy and stay safe 🙏😎

    RE Himalayan "Street Rossi" Edition should be the term, perhaps! Inclining more towards what's on the inside and eing an ex-Himalayan owner, the chassis and welds leaves a lot to be desired, and when I say lots, L O T S. To start off, the chassis remains the same, the engine remains the same, the swingarm remains the same, and there in lies why this won't term as a long termer and it shows. With chassis tubes that's been formed by someone with JKG level competency, and welds by someone who suffers from glaucoma and rubber parts quality that resembles that it's been manufactured by a balloon manufacturer. RE has become well versed selling the same stale ice cream albeit in a different cup, with different colors. Well, who am I to argue! Good luck to the owners! :)

      maybe switch ur engine oil to some synthetic one on the next service:)

    • @twowheeledparadox
      @twowheeledparadox 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All engine parts run tighter during running in so heat generation will be a little higher. And yes, as the other person suggested, see if you can switch to a semi synthetic oil like Motul 5100 after the first or second service.

    • @pujabelgian
      @pujabelgian 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@twowheeledparadox the Himalayan uses semi synthetic, the Interceptot uses synthetic.. you can't go wrong using whatever the manual recommends. 😊

    • @twowheeledparadox
      @twowheeledparadox 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pujabelgian Well, yes and no. You cannot go wrong with the specifications recommended by the manual but in my experience if it recommends using an OEM oil, you may need to reassess. From what I have heard, the OEM Liquid Gun oil used in the Himalayan is not very good. Oil from another company that meets the specifications may be better.

    I don't like the front look, the set up of the cluster with the headlamp is so weird, if someone want to tour with it he can't install any windshield on it.

    I do have elbow problems related, any chance to reduce the amount of vibrations on these bikes?

  • @pujabelgian
    @pujabelgian 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    interesting.. I'd stick with the Himalayan for it's uniqueness and also have a road bike. If you can only have one, perhaps the scram is a good choice.

    A 1956 NSU Max Spezial 250 cc and 13 kW power give 120 km/h. Can you explain the difference with this modern Royal Enfield?

    🙋🙋Can you put a comparison between ride quality and probable maintenance issues between RE Meteor and Scram? Because most people will be able to buy only one motorcycle for their rides. Which one should they buy between Meteor and Scram? 🙏🙏

    Not sure why companies keep doing this and spend long hours and testing mentioning that this is a new vehicle... But just making fool of everybody and re launching the same product with different colours and some new panels... Such motorcycles doesn't need a dedicated video... Where is 95% of the vehicle is the same and no thought was given to even at the design stage to make it different from the Himalayan 😀😀... This will soon meet the dust and Perish 😀
