No so when you have the pedal at a constant rate than your on eco mode and when you press on the throttle , eco mode will go away. I learned that , I have a 2014 Chrysler 300s v6
So how do we turn it off ? I got the same issue on a 2013 Chrysler 300c 5.7 V8 I had a mechanic check and his saying the problem might be inside the motor like the lifters or heads but idk if it’s true
MilliondollaGrind idk if I am reading your comment the right way but it looks like your asking how to put it in sport without a button. Just put your car in drive twice basically
When you put your car in drive you will see the S (signal) signal right below the D (drive) signal. Just simply move the gear shifter down from D to S and it will be on sport mode.
@@byron916mauck No, eco mode is part of the MDS, it *temporarily* shuts off 4 of the cylinders to save on gas. Which isn’t actually good far the engine because they’re wearing down at uneven amounts. Hence why you need a tuner to disable it.
Eco mode stays on but stops showing on the dash. Does NOT turn eco mode off.
I didn’t even have to check this for myself, lmao. I know this don’t work
@@biggd2x gotta disable MDS with a tuner in order to actually disable it
@@chaset1218 yeah I figured as much

Its not off. You just turned off the display. It's still on you just can't see it. Lol
Thank you pal. Worked!!!

Sound about right out of all the videos I’ve watched and experience
maaaaaaan ive been trying to figure this out since i bought my car...thanks man
Doesn't turn off ECO mode, just stops showing it on your screen
Easy nice well explain
When you turn it off , it creates 2 more cylinders

Appreciate that my guy
Thumbs up Bro!
That only turns off the eco symbol.... doesn't turn off eco mode buddy
My 13 300c v8 has mode button on steering wheel right above cruise control that shuts off eco mode
The display can be turned off the actual eco mode is always going to kick in automatically
Put it in sport mode
Bro ur a life saver
Out of respect. I would delete this video from TH-cam. Unfortunately, your information is not accurate.
it will only turn the illuminated light off lol you need a tuner to disable the system
Is there a fuse for eco mode you can pull?
LOL its a chrysler dude
Does your eco mode light go on n of while driving ?
It’s going to. When your car is at a steady and low rpm it’s going to kick on and when you spend up it goes off
It's still on just can't see it lol... Could've, would've, should've got a HEMI! Same car but has almost 100 HP more.
Still has eco mode so still has the same problem he is attempting to "fix." So, not sure what your point is or who you think you are arguing with.
Trust me they know they just wouldn’t tell you but if you paid money they would do it…
Just turns off display
Bra u know there’s a sport signal in dash how do you turn it on without a sport button

I'm a little late here but you can get a tazer from z automotive and it unlocks sport mode in the base 300 @MilliondollaGrind
U need to buy a zautomotive tazer to activate your sport mode to be on
I used MultiEcuScanner to turn mine on. Runs like a beauty, but does NOT turn off eco mode when you have it on.
To disable eco mode you have to disable MDS. This just disables the notification that it is in eco mode.
How
@@jmanc1223 Go to a shop and ask, there’s a couple ways, but if you don’t know then you won’t be doing it yourself

How do I make my radio do that lol
I don’t believe that turns the eco off. It’s just a steering so you won’t see it in the cluster
Its just showing you are driving economically. Turning off the display ofnthat does noth8ng with performance
with the tazer u can disable all the way off lol
Uhh I don’t think so
🤣🤣🤣
