Good tech knowledge on this video with really good ideas on how to get the job done and where to pick a module up. This video rings true with me since my workmate has a 300 that had this problem, I told him I could probably do the job but he stupidly was talked into going to the dealership and having it done for way to much money, but he's not bright. Thanks for the video.👍😉
You’re welcome my friend. Sadly a lot of people get that false sense of security with the dealership which I usually call the it the stealership. I kind of grew up in the country, where we just didn’t throw things away we learned to fix them and being poor, that also played a factor. But in the end, it all came in handy.👍
Thank you very much Will, I am guessing this is the same kinda setup my Charger has of same year. I bought the Charger 1 month ago and the Bluetooth won't hook up, my daughter is a Mechanic who will do the work for me. Glad you made the video. 😊
On mine simply resetting the battery makes it work again for a few weeks then goes out again so unless your Bluetooth replacement is new you won’t really know until a few days if it doesn’t go out it’s good to use if it goes out then you got another bad one
Someone needs to make an aftermarket replacement as these hfm or telecom/hands free units are so prone to failure and are on tons of vehicles...plus stellantis won't give us a way to fix em. There's even a service bulletin out for updating the firmware when experiencing these issues. Just a quick Google search shows that these break constantly across all Mopar since 2011 or 2012 when Bluetooth was added...so many, that people are even reselling them on eBay as "refurbished or repaired" and more than likely flashing them to the newest firmware and then making sure they work...from what I found in order to flash the unit you have to use wiitech or some specific dealer software you can't just put a USB with the new is firmware like with the uconnect. They also say to use a specific mopar USB cable even though it appears to be just a typical Mini USB port making me curious if a regular mini USB cable (not micro) would work to flash it since there only so many wires but not knowing the pin out I cant verify if it's the same or if the proprietary cable is required.

Yes, it’s very similar. 👍

That’s not a permanent fix as the chip set in these goes bad the actual electronics and replacing it is the only true fix.

Подскажите. Если заменить этот блок, то блютуз будет работать!???
Yes, the Bluetooth will work great if you do the procedure in the video.
