My wife and I are in awe about how much they fit into a 50’ boat! The hatches in the sole are fantastic, you could provision the heck out of it and never see it, but have the weight balanced well. Very, very lovely and well made boat!
Thank you for doing an excellent review. I really appreciate how you open cupboards and do close ups on the finish work. You're right, these things matter! You provide the best boat tours in my opinion.
It is a fantastic boat, we have something else coming from this group of yacht builders coming soon so keep an eye out for it. If you like what Allures and Garcia do it will blow your mind;)
Leigh, your reviews get better and better. Personally this Allures is the overall winner of all your review boats. Had me reaching for my black credit card but my age precluded purchase . My current heading 090 degrees.
The reviews are excellent, but there are some really important (imo) details that you don't often cover, for instance; the keel design and construction, the fuelling system details, the rudder system, controls and autopilot. WADR those are far more important than the colour of the interior. Also, with an aluminium boat, what are the corrosion protection systems?
@@vorjay Aluminum is the way to go.... forget fiberglass....the constant rebedding of things....blisters....etc .. Aluminum is less maintenance...ain't nothing worse than being below deck tracking down pesky leaks ....this is based on my experience
@@SAILINGDIRTYBIRD uhm, how does that make the Garcia better since the Allures is Aluminum also? it's also made at the same shipyard. it's basically just a Garcia but not overengineered for Arctic and Antarctic voyages.
Excellent presentation of an exciting boat. I wonder how it compares to Garcia owned by the same group. It is unfortunate that Allures uses Andersen winches, a Danish product. I wonder they use any metals stripped off the refugees by the racist Danish government...

Is it possible to install Selden furling mast?
Yes, the Allures 51.9 comes with an in-mast furling as standard.
Great video! Just curious is this swing keel?
Center Board,
Price ?
Starts at 900.000 before options.
What is the price of this boat , please reply me .
They start at around 750.000 before options etc. hope that helps? I would say you will do one million to get it they way you want it;)
nice review but the audio glitches are really annoying
My microphone keeps hitting my top sorry about that.
Oi tem como colocar legenda em português 🇧🇷🥺
Working on it;)
51.9 or 61.9?
Tha boat has an echo kind of tinny.
Wow
Yes ;)
I say 8 bottles of wine.
We will give it a try,
I think I’d prefer this to the GE52……I don’t think I’d need a boat that can sail the NW Passage.
That is the great thing about this boat you can take it anywhere;) Thanks for watching
@@SVTONICBoatWives I imagine this would be less expensive than the GE52?
@@brettharrison2237 pretty sure the 51.9 is about the price of a GE45
@@vorjay awesome
six bottles
Yes, I think, but it depends on the crew and how long they last;)
terrible to hear "Alore"
Zute Alore;)
Not as nice as a Garcia
how so.

@@vorjay well....I been through Caribbean, and am interested in off beaten cooler Climates... it's a vessel that offers more choices
@@SAILINGDIRTYBIRD okay. but that doesn't change the fact this boat can do it too. it's just the Garcia is OVERENGINEERED for it.

We will be test sailing the new Garcia 60 on the 18 of March, so hopefully, we can answer all your questions. Thank you for watching;)
@@SVTONICBoatWives Thanks!
