@@shogunkristina thank you! There are so many other great creators out there in the "how to" space. I'm just trying to show how to do things for this industry.
I found your channel and appreciate your teaching style and methods. I’m not new to IT but new to telephony and I have an entire new set of toys I need to learn! I’ve never worked for a telcom so I’m playing some catch up and found your channel helpful. I’m working with voip and sip and find all of this helpful.
Hey Michael! I love your channel and the informative videos. Any chance you can do a video on the business side of things? If you could cover your experience with taxes, business credit, expenses (purchasing new tools for specific jobs), etc. or maybe interview a trusted CPA/Tax advisor who has worked with IT Field Techs. This would be very helpful!
I've been trying to think of ways to do that effectively and I've even reached out to a CPA to try to do an interview. I haven't got anything nailed down yet but it is on my ideas list. Thanks for watching and for your suggestion!
Interesting, but also the switchport would be inactive because your have disconnected at the far end to put your toner on.. So getting into the ball park area, looking at the link lights on the switch would get you even closer
True but when you're dealing with multiple 48 port switches in a big closet it's not as easy. The environment in this video is simple enough to look at inactive links. The true value of this tip comes in a larger environment.
Mike is becoming the standard for field support videos
