Yes, it's a perfect lap running pond for smaller boats 😀. This was the first nose down dive with this boat. For a moment, I was afraid that it would get stuck in the mud. Luckily, it popped up again!
I fully agree! It runs with too much drag still. I notice it after catching a ripple; the boat accelerates before sinking on the water again. I'm building a 3D printed version with strakes right now. Let's see how that goes. I'm also finishing a carbon version with longer stinger and low drag rudder. I guess that one will run better, too!
looks to be self trimming through spoon effect, cant help wonder how much fast this would go with a front rail and a micro chine rail , too get her to run a little higher ?Any chance of this evolving in the future ?Then this would be super easy to mould DJ . Or get me to mould for you? Regards from the UK.
Well, that's a coincidence! I'm now assembling a 3D printed version, which has lifting strakes and spray rails integrated! I really appreciate your offer for a mold! Coincidentally, I'm also talking with another designer, who will send a mold to me. You can always send me an email at cozyrc1@gmail.com 👍
Great running boat but a lighter battery of the same spec just less mah should be faster 🤔 The lighter lipo is the same c rating? Maybe it's going bad, everytime I get new batteries one always runs better than the other... Go figure! 🤦♂️
The C-rating is the same, yes. But the capacity is less. The current you can draw from the battery is: capacity * C-rating. As a result, the 2.2Ah lipo can provide less power without dropping the voltage.
2.2 Amp Hours 3s LiPo. If it were only 2.2A the LiPo would be dead within seconds of use in this boat. Nice run. Looks almost as fast as a tethered.
It actually is, check the first run. About 2 minutes of full throttle 😅
Brilliant so stable for a small boat 👍
Thanks! It does handle a bit of chop quite well 😎✌️
Laps afther laps😊
Scary moment at the end🥺

It runs very good💪🏻💪🏻🔥
Thanks, Mylan! But it can run better 😎
Looks like it could do with a bit more positive on the strut, its running quite bow down & a bit to flat.
