This is cool. I like the idea of reviewing products a second time. So often do i see youtubers try something once and give thier first impressions but its hard to find reviews of anything people used for a few months
Nice progress. I’m a HackMotion owner and know it’s difficult to change your swing pattern to achieve optimal wrist positions. One comment… you aren’t wearing the sensor that goes on the back of the hand properly. If your are using the strap with this sensor, it goes around the palm of the hand and on the finger side of the thumb and not behind the thumb. The sensor is supposed to sit in the middle of the back of the hand. Yours appears to sit nearer your wrist. Not sure if this has a big impact since it is the differences between wrist angles that matter rather than the wrist angle values themselves. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I will have to take a look at that next time. I know it's difficult to change wrist patterns, for me I use the hackmotion to check my angles every 2-3 months
Remember, this is all relative to how strong, weak or neutral your grip is, so not everyone will need to alter angles on the downswing to the same degree.
it depends on what you are working on. I'm recently working alot on ulnar deviation in my downswing and the pro version will show me that and give me comparisons with pros, but if you're just working on extension and flexion then the standard version would be fine, there should be a discount code in the description below. I will be making a video on ulnar deviation with the hackmotion soon.
I made a few videos on ulnar deviation, in fact, ever since I started doing ulnar deviation my swing has just improved drastically, going on for 4 months now, it was a game changer for me
@@thebackyardgolfer7010 …where in the swing do you do ulnar deviation. Also I think ulnar deviation goes with supination of the left wrist so you must have that matched up 👏
@@cdunne1620 ulnar deviation starts on your downswing and yes it goes with supination of your lead arm, but to have the right amount of supination on impact you must first have pronation, just like ulnar, start with radial then go ulnar, it really worked for me, I just dropped my handicap down to 4 now
Being too extended causes a left shot. That is really interesting. Extending in the downswing, your "before" results, is probably more prevalent than I want to believe. 🤣
No, I've never tried deWiz, but what I like about the hackmotion is that it can tell you the angles in your wrists, deWiz looks like just a watch so it's not going to tell you whether you flex or extend..
I just changed something major in my swing trying to flex on my downswing, finally got it, yes definitely flexing more on my downswing has helped me in the course, more consistency, thanks to seeing that flexion
@@EduardoEspinosa-j7c I’ve the pro version, but it really depends on what you want to work on, initially extension and flexion is great, but then you start to learn about ulnar and radial deviation, as well as supination and pronation
It's probably the reflection on the mirror to the right of the mat that gives you that impression. I don't see the ball flight at all, but I do see the reflection.
@@sirdoggo ok I just saw the video again, you're right it looks like I almost hit the mirror on the right....... next time I will put shot tracer, sorry about that
Lot of numbers to confuse everyone. A teaching pro might find this useful. Don’t see how this would help the average golfer without a lesson from a pro
it could be complicated, but I think it's great feedback, there are so many options, and it's so imporant for a player to know where the swing issue starts and ends
One month later it was in a drawer. 6 month later it’s still in the drawer. Totally useless for 90% of amateurs. Still need a pro. What’s the point knowing something is wrong but you don’t know how to fix it ?
Did you try doing ulnar deviation in your downswing? Feel like you're putting your left wrist down on your downswing, I did this 2 months ago and it was a game changer
@@thebackyardgolfer7010 actually I don’t want to change my swing. It’s certainly not perfect but it works. Been playing since 1989, I’m 69 and still 13 handicap with a driver that goes around 240 yards more or less in the middle of the fairway. Therefore it would be a hudge mistake to try to change my swing and take the risk to destroy everything. I played with this Hackmotion because it was a gift. I still believe that’s is a very nice tool but most of amateurs should use it with their pro and not alone.
yes I would not change my swing either if yours works, just look a the numbers, even the pros all have different swings (numbers), I think it's just important to be aware of those numbers and angles so that when you're struggling you will know why

I had watched a lot of TH-camrs with videos on this product and by far had done the best! Thank you!
thank you very much
Just bought one and struggling big time with flex at impact. Thanks for explaining the data.
@@vikrampitre2343 no problem, try ulnar deviation instead of flexing, that helped me the most
Do the core version have the audio that makes the noise when you over extract
It does have the audio feedback, here is the link to all the core features hackmotion.com/products/hackmotion-golf-core/
I recall your review and this information is so cool to see. More cool is indeed your progress. Nice. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Those wrist angles are so important, hard to believe that just a few degrees make such a huge difference
Remember, this is all relative to how strong, weak or neutral your grip is, so not everyone will need to alter angles on the downswing to the same degree.
This is very true, that’s why you need good knowledge before getting this device, but I like the radial and ulnar deviation readings
That's why is checks where you are at address so it knows what your grip is like
@@OllieMartinGamer exactly, grip is super important then you can look into radial and ulnar deviation

Are you bringing the club back too far inside ?
@@steveschwalbach4070 yea I was, I fixed the issue by doing radial deviation on my takeaway then ulnar deviation on my downswing, it worked!!
