I agree, this is my favourite training aid. Your wrist position helps your body get in a good position throughout the swing The top & impact ranges are relative to your lead wrist angle at address. Top range should be within +5* to -20* of what you were at address, Impact range should be within -15* to -30* of what you were at address. (Address position can vary each time you set up to your shot) So if your address position is 20* the Top range will be 25* to 0* and the impact range will be 5* to -10*

Im running 2 apps at the same time. They don’t talk to each other but it’s the same swing so I use the data from the HackMotion app and compare it to the launch monitor
@ Yeah, I had the Core and found it useful so got the upgrade to Pro. I want to work on the other aspects, like practicing, and have a home simulator. Also, I like the structured exercises and the community aspect.
Do you understand how the ranges work for the 3 different positions? I don't really get it at all. Like your first few shots it wanted you at +25 extension at impact, but then the next hit you were +15 and it said "in range". I never really understand what the data is looking to tell me on this thing
Well +25 would be too extended and +15 is less so that puts me in the right range for my swing with driver. It’s based off setup position as well. Obviously hitting up on the driver you will be more extended than an iron that’s hitting down on it so it’s really good to see the algorithm working and giving accurate insights
The range is determined by grip at address and user calibration of the device. The “correct” lead wrist movement is to not add too much extension by top of backswing but crucially have less extension at impact than at address.
@@alastairwoodford3575 yes so in my previous video comparing it against the PGA tour pro data what I was surprised with (probably shouldn’t have been) is how little movement is actually in their swing. Most of them are single plane and on plane the whole time with a lot less movement in the hands and wrist than we think just by looking at it with the naked eye
@@alxabu043 you will get basic diagnostics and practise drills with the basic package. Comparing to pga tour pros is the top package and the putting function is the middle one

How did you put the hack Pro information inside the Golf app as well?
Im running 2 apps at the same time. They don’t talk to each other but it’s the same swing so I use the data from the HackMotion app and compare it to the launch monitor
Is the Pro worth the upgrade or do most of us mid handicappers get what we’re going to get out of the Core?
It’s always worth the upgrade but you don’t have to start there

@ agreed mate, it’s fantastic and the putting is also a game changer

Wow, imagine if you got that spin down and the decent angle a few degrees lower you would be seeing 285 total
