  • Stitch idea. Crocheting 3 rows of single crochet at the same time. This stitch can be used in making a scarf, dish cloth, afghan...
    After all the comments. I just learned this is similar to linked treble crochet and Tunisian crochet technique. Thank you so much for sharing all your info.
    My videos have written instructions only, no voice. You can write the whole instructions from my videos for personal use only.
    Happy Crocheting!!!
    Thank you so much for watching and subscribing, for giving a thumbs up and sharing my videos. It means a lot to me. Have a beautiful day!!!

    Are you trying to say this is your original stitch idea? Because what you're doing is a linked treble crochet stitch. It's been around for a while and has even been published in some crochet books. And yes the technique is similar to tunisian crochet.

    • @lyzawalters4413
      @lyzawalters4413  4 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      No. Before this I dont know about tunisian crochet until someone commented and that linked treble crochet is new to me. Thank you for adding. I definitely going search that. I learned basic crochet sts only from slip st, SC, Hdc, Dc & treble crochet when I was 14 in the handicraft in our city. But it became my hobby not until 6 yrs ago and learn again self taught by watching videos on particular project and always making project w/o pattern. I have a guide of basic sts. I dont have books of diff sts. Just sharing.

      @@lyzawalters4413 i see, u may have more viewers if u add that "linked treble crochet" to your tags or whatever. It's a very good video and ppl wanting more instruction on that stitch might appreciate it. Although, i think you do it with a slight variation. In the linked treble, if i remember correctly, you only pull up yarn from one "bar" per vertical stitch of the previous treble, not two. It's hard to explain, which is why your videos are so helpful

    • @lyzawalters4413

      @@P.M.P.181 Thank you very much. Ill do that. I add it to the title also. I searched and it's very similar. I've seen they insert hook into back bar loop and other is inserted the hook in one vertical loop on the front side. Thanks again.

      @@lyzawalters4413 All ok! This happened to me when the fleegle heel was shown. I knitted this since over 30 years and didn't know world didn't use it! Then it came here in so many videos and l thought that can't be! But if you put a vid online it's better to write into (), if you disturb s.o's rights she/he may contact you, it's not knowingly. I've a book with more than 500 patterns and here at YT sometimes patterns l knew from my grannies are done here, shown as new! They sometimes arn't in the "new" patterns. Some flippy - funny are new, some a bit changed, but result can be a lot different. When l saw your vid l just wanted to ask if you changed a tunesian stitch but then first one here asked and l saw before l wrote my question. You did this vid so well! All explained very fine! Please don't stop and please don't be sad! Be blessed and stay healthy! Yours, Conny L.

    Your videos are absolutely awesome!! When will people realize that some things are passed from generation to generation without any intent to infringe on something that is "new" to them, or simply called something different because of geographic location? Respect for others is so important, and I respect and love what you do. Please don"t let the negativity of others impact your spirit and the joy you bring to others by sharing. It is a gift and I thank you. I am sharing this craft with my daughters and granddaughters and hope others do the same. May you be blessed and please keep your videos coming

    This is FANTASTIC! I love everything about this tutorial. The yarn and color you chose was very easy for me to see ‘how’ you did the stitch. The speed at which you did is PERFECT and pausing and pointing out each step and the music...very soothing, soft and slow, when learning something new ❤️ Thank you and I’m trying this today! You’re AWESOME! Bless you 🙏

I'm liking the look of the sts(i think this stitch is good also for men scarf) but the edges is not that neat..Adding a border really helps. & Also, work the last stitch tightly to avoid having a hole in first st of next row.
