How to Crochet 2 Rows at a Time using Stackable Double Crochet Stitches

- Ever wonder how to make two rows at a time with double crochet stitches?
In this video I'll show how to make two rows at a time using stackable double crochet stitches. Plus I'll also show stackable single crochet stitches and how they can be used as a substitute to the usual chain 3 at the beginning of crochet rows. Stackable stitches create multiple rows to be made at once. And the technique used in this video also looks very similar to Tunisian crochet.
For my sample I'm using a cotton and acrylic blend worsted weight yarn and a size 4.5 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use any other size yarn and crochet hook.
Any questions, feel free to ask. And please enjoy this video! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia

Thank you so much. This is certainly a game changer for me, I crochet for charity, or to donate to fund raising. Currently have 7 days to produce items for a fund raising event for a lawn bowls club, with money going to the local cancer care and treatment centre where my husband is being treated. So want to produce as much as I can. Your tutorials are always clear and concise. Huge thank you.

Thank you! 😍
Very cool. ☮️🌎🌲
Very nice, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
I love these new-to-me techniques. A very cool stitch. Is it possible to do increases and decreases in this stitch, or is it for straight edges only?
When the crochet hook is placed in the stitch below (or the next chain), anything can be done at that point, such as increases, decreases, front post, back post, back loop, front loop, etc.
@@naztaziaSo I can figure out how to do increases, but decreases still elude me. Can’t get how to work two together.
@@MsSaka100I would assume you need to do the decrase at the level of the first single crochet of the stack. Basically treat the beginning like you're doing a single crochet decrease first, then stack your other three single crochets on that.
Very nice❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks 😊
This is great. Thank you
You're very welcome!
Thank you!

This yarn looks so good can you tell me what it is please.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Wow! This stitch would make quick work on a blanket…🧶😎
Absolutely! 💯🥰
Your nails are amazing! What polish do you use? ❤
Thank you! I believe that's chrome powder over a gel polish cured under an LED light.
Love it, my question , can you use this stitch when making granny squares?
It depends. If it is the solid type of granny square with no chain one spaces in between, this could work. However, the traditional granny square usually has chain 1 spaces from the round below that the double crochet stitches go into, so it probably wouldn't work as well with the traditional one.
Do you come up with your own designs and stitches for crocheting? Ive been seeing alot of new ways to crochet the basic stitches ive learned some 22 yrs ago and still crochet today.
Love ur nails..❤❤
Thank you! 💅
Amazing😮
Thank you!
