- Hey folks, in this video i will cover how to connect the Playstation Portal to the T-Mobile Hotspot using a mobile device. The 0x83200111 Error code has been effecting many playstation portal owners and i'm here to help you solve the issue. This is a UPDATED video to help those aren’t able to connect their Playstation Portal to their phones(iPhone/Android) hotspot. ill also be supplying useful tips and helping you troubleshoot roadblocks along the way! For those of you who are still having trouble, make sure you change your phone’s name in “about”. Very crucial part bc I had mine as an older name and it didn’t work. I tried it again after renaming my phone to a new name and it worked like a charm 1st go. Hope this helps some.

I’ve had my portal for a couple months now and can’t connect. Hope this works. Thanks for the video. Also if I change all those settings is it gonna mess up my home settings when I’m connected to my house wifi as I mainly play my portal in bed away from my setup

Do you have to do this everytime ? Like for example when I’m at home I connect to my wifi but when i leave home do settings stay on my hotspot ?
Good question! Nope the portal holds onto about 2-3 WiFi networks at a time so if you leave home, just turn on your phones hotspot and the portal should remember the network settings!
I got mine to connect through t mobile hotspot and it it did connect through to my ps5 but the problem is that it is very laggy and i can't be able to play. Is there a way to improve the speed connection. I ran a speed test and the download speed was 500 and upload was 9. So maybe the upload speed can be fixed somehow thanks
Those addresses you typed in; is that ONLY for TMobile, or all carriers?
T mobile only to my knowledge. You can try to use it with other carriers but I doubt it would work. Keep me updated if it does work.

I manage to connect to my iPhone through the settings you provided but I couldn’t connect to my ps5
for some strange reason everyone is saying that it worked for them but i did everything exactly even using the same numbers that actually varies since your IP address changes everytime you go from wifi to network service. and its definitely not working still.

When I us my tmobile hotspot the correction is horrible. It won't stay connected and when it does it lags

IT works now but as soon as it connects to the PlayStation it disconnects and it looks crappy

Had an easy time connecting to my hotspot but once i attempted to connect to my PS5 it said “something went wrong” & im on 5G data as well.
I have full bars and 5G but my screen is slightly blurry. Know why??
Well I spoke too soon. It’s now connected but it won’t stay connected to my ps 5 for more than 10 seconds. I have a 5g connection getting 230mbs…

My PlayStation Portable connects to the hotspot on my iPhone just fine it just let me do the remote play it won’t let me access the PS5 with the Portable I’m wondering if it’s AT&T blocking

I’m about done with this console I can’t get it to work no matter how many methods I try and I’ve tried many of them trust me when I say that I just got it and it’s been nothing but a headache to get to work whether on hotspot or wifi it doesn’t want to connect to the ps5

@@Toker510 It's because T-Mobile uses dynamic services (or something to that effect) so the IP does not connect. It's strange. But that's what the representative from T-Mobile said. They are aware of the issues but no timeframe as to a fix... You know blah blah blah. It pisses me off too trust me.
With this info I was finally able to connect, but my portal won’t connect to my PS5 . Keeps saying something wrong . Atleast I was finally able to connect the hotspot . 😢
Try restarting your PS5, Portal and phone! This worked for me. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear that isaac, make sure your phone is updated to the latest update. Also reboot your portal, phone and the PS5 and try it again. Also if NAT-2 doesn't work try NAT-3. Hopefully this helps🫡
One small mistake when I tried the first time was case sensitive on “IPhone”. Sometimes it’s the simple things
Another TH-camr said the issue seems to be with iPhone Pro Max version. I’m using iPhone 13 Pro Max and still could not connect my Portal to my hotspot but I am able to connect to my work phone hotspot and it is a regular iPhone 13.

I hear you. Try restarting your router, PS5, Portal and phone. I think having 1-3 5G BARS of is the main factor but if you can't get it to work then id recommend trying another handheld! Sorry to hear you are having troubles

Honestly I see the frustration but when you find out how to get it connected it’s great. I use it away from the house but mainly at my girls house while my ps5 is at home and it works flawless. Obviously the slight input delay that’s noticeable with some games but if I keep that in mind the other games I play it works perfect I love the face I don’t have that it’s actually a streaming device because it’s the power of my PlayStation wherever I go
This piece of crap has been nothing but a headache as soon as I got it out the box. I have top internet 2 devices connected and it still runs like crap even with all these tips and tricks. Sent back within a week.

At least mention how you are connected and what you did. Having 2 items connected to your router means nothing.
Are you hardwired? What is the problem you faced?
Maybe you had your WiFi on (connected to another router)
I only have 60mbps internet download speed
And my router is Archer ax23 and i bought it in walmart for 25$ only. I don't have any issue with the connection with my ps portal and no lag at all, It is very smooth to play 60fps.
My PlayStation portal works at home using my Home router. Once I bring it to work and try to connect it to my T-Mobile hotspot. It doesn’t connect. 💩💩🥴🥴
