Short answer I would say no it doesn’t even work without lag on my work WiFi that’s not public. update:our WiFi at work is 207mbps upload and 35mbps download I don’t understand how I get like a full second of input lag

Can you play outside your house/wifi like if you live far from your PS or you're at friend's home like you remote play on a Smartphone or Ps Portal?

i have the portal and my phone does a better job with remote play. i returned that thing idk why everyone says it is good. that thing is trash. I had the best internet u can buy with ethernet connected and still have so many problems, lag, stuttering, framerate goes down to 30fps(idk how if it is being streamed) but yes look it up multiple people claim fps drop. phone is smooth like butter. how did sony mess this up.

I bought a T mobile hotspot and it connects to the hotpsot but no Wi-Fi connects to my console other then the hotpsot on my phone any fix?

Great video! I was wondering if you know how to fix my PS Portal. It connects for a few seconds and then disconnects, but I don’t think the Portal is the problem. This happens on every Wi-Fi except my home network, even though the Wi-Fi speeds are good. It used to work fine on other networks, but it suddenly stopped. I’m also having the same issue with the PS Remote Play app

What is the name of the app on Chromecast? I bought the brand new one today there’s no app that says PS Remote Play PlayStation remote play. PS remote. Nothing like that. What is going on? I kind of feel like y’all are just selling Chromecast.

You don't need to be on the same wifi to play your ps5von the portal after you connect

hey, I wanted to ask, after setting up the first initial time did you have issues? i’m having issues reconnecting. When I first got it, it worked great the first time now I’m constantly having to reset the device and go through the set up and even after I go to the set up, it’s not detecting my phone most of the time.

Just get the Pulse Elite. Trust me, you’ll be so much happier than coming up with a makeshift solution that will only give you audio delay. Or just use wired headphones instead of having some dongle hanging off the back of your PS Portal.

This is not worth of a monitor..just like the PS portal, hooking up to the Wifi is crappy and frustrating...PS shud fix those issues...i have hooked up the PS5 to the 49 inch HDR Curve Pro pc monitor. That's the best playable monitor.😅

I genuinely don't understand what this product adds, other than latency, if you have just a PlayStation Portal and a phone that can create a 5GHz wireless hotspot already on a 5G mobile network What am I missing?

It would be nice if the monitor was powered by the ps5. Because a PS5's own cable and the display's battery cable create confusion and are not ergonomic.
