I cried…. Being from Chicago you know how this feels . He was the chosen one . Playing on those same courts as a kid , I think most of us Chicago kids were living vicariously through him. He was living the dream out getting drafted by his home town team. Then seeing the talent level being clipped and cut short by injuries. It hurts like hell . He was cut from the cloth of Jordan Bron Kobe …..that tier. Just didn’t get to reach it . That’s why it hurts bad . Then to see his kid crying knowing his dad was great but understanding the dynamic of his career being cut short and what he could of been. That hurts.. I’m sure PJ almost feels he has to finish writing his dad story. However PJ, you don’t … make your own. We know how great Drose was , nobody wanted to see him. whoever your favorite player is will tell you the same. He didn’t want to see him. Drose is forever my all time point guard. He accomplished a lot quickly.

Bro i teared up throughout this whole thing. Rose has been my #1 favorite player ever since i heard about him as a youngin when he was playing electrifying ball in high school all throughout to college ball. Then when i heard the bulls drafted him in 08 as the #1 pick (my all time favorite team since i was a kid) i was ecstatic. I tried my best to mimick his game when i played youth league, to AAU, to high school and even a little after that just for fun. I was a point guard and was always known as a rim attacker-quick,agile, too fast on the court when it came to drives. I just tried to play the exactly like him all the damn time.
I’ll always forever love this guy for what he brought to Chicago and for what he brought to the game of basketball. He’s a humble ass dude and never was about the drama or fell into pressure.
