      @slayer u can say that but tbh quite alot of north indians have fair skin i wouldn't see them and call them brown. Technically their skin might be "brown" but most of them dont look brown especially considering barely any one uses suncreen here. My classmates looked pale spending 6 hrs in sun too indians r just very diverse.

      Some indigenous tribes, especially those that have remained isolated from the outside world, tend to have a more homogeneous culture. For example, the Sentinelese tribe of the Andaman Islands has had minimal contact with the outside world. Their cultural practices, language, and societal structures are relatively uniform due to their isolation.
      Smaller island nations, due to limited population and geographical isolation, often exhibit less cultural diversity. For instance, the culture of Iceland, with a small population and a relatively isolated location, has a more homogeneous cultural identity when compared to larger, more cosmopolitan countries.

    Aryans are indo-iranians not Indo-Europeans(yamnayans), indo-iranian (aryans) are a daughter branch of Indo-Europeans (yamnayans). It's Iranians and Indo-Aryans who called themselves aryans, we since ancient times called our countries as iranshahr and arya-varta respectively, no western cultures ever called themselves aryans before colonization of India. After. After colonization they(westerners) came to know about sanskrit and avestan word "aryan", and some tried to appropriate that word for themselves and popularise it in west. All the descendants of aryans(indo-iranians) are Iranians and indo-aryans & NOT western Indo-Europeans(yamnayans) descendents.

    I don't like toxic peoples in India who just thinks that he's/she's beautiful than others
    I'm live in northern part of India where mostly peoples have white,light or dark brown skin tone
    There are few numbers of peoples who's have black in skin tone So peoples of my state are so toxic (not all but some ) they make their joke becuz of his/her skin colour I don't like that
    Meanwhile my skin tone colour is also light brown and some of the people also makes my joke ( me having light brown skin tone or my brother having fair skin )

      @@GeneticsLessons no whatever u studied is fake. There is a narrative which was and still driven by the Vatican to make blind believers that India which is already known as Bharat was colonized by two separate genetically distinct populations. But in reality the truth the r1a1 haplo groups actually went out from Bharat.
      And then went to central and then to Europe.
      And to prove the Arayan Invasion Myth suddenly changed into Aryan Migration myth. It's because there were never been found the actual evidence of war or invading substances. So just use the brain and there are a lot of other clues u will find.
      You see that only among whites Armenian and Russians have our original gene 🧬. Because we considered Russian as a the Salv descendents of Sanatan Dharm family.
      So European had Bharatiya paternal 🧬 gene with there native mother gene 🧬. U will amaze to find there a actual Aryan invasion occured in the west and east Europe where you see dead bodies in a pit.
      I give you enough clue to help you conduct your own research but if you propagandist and secretly work for the Vatican then wait for us to rise again and one day we reclaim our throne again.

      Formed after they burning some inocent intelligent people,
      Example: we Bharatiyas always know that earth is round and revolves around sun.
      But a white people understand it and RIP Galileo.
      Whatever,
      Well genetically we can say that about 90-95% of r1a1 haplo groups have been found in Bharat. And about only 2-5 % have been found of your paternal 🧬 gene parents after they conquered and coming back from the Europe. the evidence tell us that they were peacefully mingled with southern region of Bharat no traces of war ever happened. So it gives evidence that they belong to the Sanatan Dharm family (fact: not a religion, other than only the family of Abrahams are religions).
      But in Europe it's been found that there were massive genocide where you found genocidal pits of male bodies.
      For more reference please read the book of AIT myth of authors like AL Chavada, and Siv Shakti.
      Now my friend 😁 of u don't find any materials thus it proves three theories
      1. U r secretly working for the Vatican.
      2. The facts are hidden from you people and teaching you the biased false 😜 report.
      3. You are stupid.
      Well there is enough evidence i gave you to start your own expedition.
      For example, America has never been discovered it's always there with natives.
      For more clues (Christianism Perspective). Research about this.

      In Europe, the R1a1 sub-clade is found at highest levels among peoples of Central and Eastern European descent, with results ranging from 35% to 65% among Czechs, Hungarians, Poles, Slovaks, western Ukrainians (particularly Rusyns), Belarusians, Moldovans, and Russians.
      In Brahmins 5 haplogroups out of 18 were found to be most frequent (>5%) (R1a1* (35.7%), J*/J2 (12.4%), L (11.3%), R2 (10.8%) and H1 (8.0%)) and represented 78.2% of the total number of samples

    Do you know when they began to select for light skin in north India? And why do you think this is?

    • @GeneticsLessons
      @GeneticsLessons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      There was not any special selection - there were multiple migration waves - since different groups of different skin color - and it was also preserved by the caste system.

    • @manlit7003
      @manlit7003 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GeneticsLessons oh I see, But what do you mean by positively selected for? What kind of advantage did it serve north indians? Also the caste system began around 2000 years ago if I am correct? Before that there was much more mixing between groups and ANI & ASI ancestry.

    • @GeneticsLessons
      @GeneticsLessons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Man Lit Yes you are correct about caste system. As for the "positive selection" - I think we can use analogy with Genghis Khan - when just this one person now have over 20 millions of the offspring directly related to him - meaning nobles may have more offspring than commoners - may have harems with hundreds of women and they have resources to support them and give them "better environment" to grow their progeny - so better fitness and reproduction success.
      Sultans could choose any women they like - and as a rule of thumb they usually chose with more fair skin - in any human society usually we have people less exposed to the sun - that means that usually people of the high class do not have to work in the fields under the sun but could seat in the tree shadows or in the palaces since the more pale skin. Japanese, Koreans, Chinese - all used white clay to put on the face to look more noble.
      Caste system is not the only one to preserve genetic homogeneity - it also can be a language, culture, geography and many other factors of this kind.

      Native Americans are descendant of Siberian migrants that penetrated the American continent 40-15 thousand years ago (kya).1 These travelers are thought to have originated in the South Altaic region of Central Asia.1, 2 Based on the genetic data, it has been proposed that the expansion to America took place in three main stages: (1) a trans-Siberian dispersion of Paleolithic people from the South Altai region to Beringia as early as 40 000 years ago (ya); (2) the settlement of Beringia and a migrational hiatus that could have lasted 15 000 years and (3) a trek from Beringia into the American continent.

    Some people here say that Indians have mixed races. Dude, being the largest populated country, India indeed has mixed races but they are in minorities compared to actual Indians. Also we Indians have always had a serious concern about our purity. (Believe me we really are) You can very well know this by comparing any other country like South Africa with India. Look at their religion ratios, race ratios, etc even after India having multiple invasions for over centuries.

    • @GeneticsLessons
      @GeneticsLessons  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You are deeply mistaken:
      Indo-European Migrations: Around 1500 BCE, the Indo-Europeans, or Aryans, migrated from the Central Asian steppes into the Indian subcontinent. This migration significantly influenced the northern part of India, contributing to the genetic, linguistic, and cultural landscape of the region.
      Dravidian Influence: Before the Indo-European migrations, the Dravidian-speaking peoples were widespread throughout India. While not an external influence in the classical sense, the movement and mixture of Dravidian groups, especially from regions that are now Iran and the Near East, contributed to the genetic diversity in the southern part of the Indian subcontinent.
      Central Asian Contributions: Various groups from Central Asia have migrated into India over the centuries, including Turks, Afghans, and Mongols, especially during the medieval period. These migrations brought about significant genetic and cultural exchanges.
      Persian and Arab Influence: Following the Islamic conquests starting in the 7th century and particularly during the Mughal Empire, there was a considerable influx of Persians and Arabs into India. This period led to a mixture of genetic lines, which are particularly evident in the northern regions of India.
      British Colonial Period: The British colonial period also saw a minor but notable genetic contribution from Europeans, particularly the British, through colonial administration and settlement.
      Southeast Asian Influence: Historical maritime trade and cultural exchanges with Southeast Asia have also contributed to the genetic diversity in the eastern coastal regions of India.
      East African Influence: The Indian Ocean trade networks facilitated movements of people from East Africa to India, contributing African genetic lineages to the western coastal communities of India, notably in Gujarat and other parts of western India.
      These contributions have resulted in a highly diverse genetic landscape in India, characterized by a complex tapestry of genetic markers. Advances in genetic research and analysis continue to reveal the depth of this diversity and the multiple layers of migration and admixture that have contributed to the population genetics of the Indian subcontinent.

      @@GeneticsLessons My point was actually not to open all the history (which is made up by Britishers) here to say that Indian race is not mixed at all. This way whole world is all messed up. I didn't actually like how that one comment portrayed India race as a mix of other races. Also 'near east', 'near west' 'near north and south' have been a part of Indian Empires multiple times so its obvious for them to travel across their great kingdom. I respect your work and your knowledge, I know you may know better than me but still the truth is that those all theories you've mentioned have been so controversial. And fr the most dirtiest one is that 'Aryan Invasion' one. Britishers had always tried to divide us Indians and so they created many such theories. As an Indian, I know how hard they tried to destroy India. Other than that, yes for sure British and Persian influence was here but it was rare as inter-caste marriage was itself not common, forget about INTER-RACE/INTER-RELIGION. It would only be possible in the case of love-marriage or forcing (I didn't find any better word). There's definitely a difference between having a linguistic, cultural influence and having a genetic influence.

    • @Hello_there497

      @@GeneticsLessons There's a difference in Europe and India. You're understanding India with European mindset. Marriages in India do not just happen by confirming character, personality and salary; there is more than that. Indians confirm gotra, caste and and other things before marriage and this is not something new. This indirectly keeps their originality. And yes as you mentioned, India is diverse in races and genes but Indian race is a mixture of other races? No way. Foreign races came here, settled here, but couldn't and didn't interfere in genes.

      The people of Northeast India have a diverse range of physical features and ethnic backgrounds, and there is no single "Northeast Indian" look. However, many people from this region tend to have more distinct East Asian features compared to people from other parts of India.
      This is due to the fact that Northeast India shares a border with several East Asian countries, such as China, Myanmar, and Bhutan, and has a history of cultural and genetic exchange with these neighboring regions. As a result, many people in Northeast India have genetic and physical similarities with East and Southeast Asian populations.
