If you’re experiencing an artistic block, maybe try easing back into it by way of teaching someone else? Pretty sure that’s the only reason why this worked for me. i just found ur content I LOVE IT why I love it: 1) You go slow, you don't speed up 2) you have a reference (so I know what my drawing should look at least 50% alike to) 3) you don't skip any parts (well you do but only minor lines that's are unimportant) 4) draw beautifully 5) I know what's going on 6) you don't go "draw the outline..." and then *snap* daw some minor details. the details:

Hi! Please don’t skip the little things that you think are little… example being how you finished making the nose look like a nose. Those little bits of detail and learning how to see connections where there aren’t any would be helpful! If the video is too long, maybe consider speeding up some of the other parts? Love this piece and want to be able to follow along but I’m not an artist by any standards

the loomis technique is lovely and all but for beginners i, and a lot of other artists, wouldn't recommend it. art is a concept, a theory. beginners probably dont understand why they draw the circles at the side of the head. they probably wont understand the logic behind this technique at all, just blind copying. which can only take you so far. so for all beginners, dont rush it. learn your theory. learn your anatomy. don't skip it at all. then maybe come back to the loomis technique, and you'll understand a bit more

The same could be said for tracing too. Good for projects for efficiency and maybe a little for practicing as beginners but don’t completely rely on it
The main idea here is to practice free hand drawing to reach the point when you learn the proportions very well, all you need is to practice it more and more.

focus on the drawing procedures , sometimes you need to watch it and watch then you dissect it.... then you modify it to fit your own style sometimes it is just silence that is needed for a being to learn, take your time observe and then try it's fine to make a funny drawing or so, just remember without practice no skills is permanent all we learn if you don't exercise it everyday the body just forgets so practice practice practice, observe observe observe, modify modify modify never underestimate your patience 👀 stop using voices and lectures no one cares just act and practice that's how you get better, there's no real verbal or action based learning we learn all neither medium you have 5 senses all of it works

It's potential that we're each blessed with, and this guy has developed his through endless hours of practice, something the majority of people can hypothetically replicate given effort and commitment
The majority of people will not feel his passion and therefore not move forward and be able to produce at this/his level. They will pursue other things or nothing. We are all blessed, but do we realize it and grow and that/those areas? It's all about God's† gifts. Have a blessed day. Peace.
I think "passion" probably means less here than you might assume. Discipline beats passion any day of the week. There's no shortage of people who are passionate about art but who never progress very far (or at all) because they fail to practice deliberately and consistently. The point I was initially trying to make is that you can't look at the finished product of a skilled artist and then assume that it's primarily due to some sort of inborn and inherent talent. This artist, and every other one of comparable ability, would be nothing without thousands of hours under their belt, and there's no single inherent genetic or congenital attribute like "passion" that one can point at to explain it - it's primarily deliberate practice engaged in consistently over a long period of time.

The majority of people will not feel his passion and therefore not move forward and be able to produce at this/his level. They will pursue other things or nothing. We are all blessed, but do we realize it and grow and that/those areas? It's all about God's† gifts. Have a blessed day. Peace.
I think "passion" probably means less here than you might assume. Discipline beats passion any day of the week. There's no shortage of people who are passionate about art but who never progress very far (or at all) because they fail to practice deliberately and consistently. The point I was initially trying to make is that you can't look at the finished product of a skilled artist and then assume that it's primarily due to some sort of inborn and inherent talent. This artist, and every other one of comparable ability, would be nothing without thousands of hours under their belt, and there's no single inherent genetic or congenital attribute like "passion" that one can point at to explain it - it's primarily deliberate practice engaged in consistently over a long period of time.
