Just finished an assignment and came straight here and found this. It motivates me to draw and actually draw things I’ve never mastered in my childhood. ❤
I did it mr.Chommang, 5 faces, i can't believe, thank you so much!!! Never thought i cant do it effortlessly, drawing faces is something just rocket science for me, again thank you❤❤❤
I'm from Taiwan and I really appreciate you for constantly sharing basic facial drawing techniques through practice videos and practicing with everyone. I've been learning the techniques you share and they've been super helpful in fixing the problem of uneven facial proportions when I draw.
Hi Chommang, I am from India a couple of days ago I randomly saw your video and save it to watch later as I have no time then , but today being so much frustrated from my studying I came to your video without any hope but trust me it make me really happy because I remember everything every measurements, every stroke which I had forgotten for 1 year just because of not practising anymore ..... So Thank you soo much for bringing my hope for my art again ❣️❣️
In case no one notices, 1:16 Checking height from brow line to chin. 1:19 Checks Nose to Chin , then from chin to mouth 1:24 places dots to roughly estimate where eye sockets would be. This helps you with facial feature placements, draw with your mind first. Eyes second.
My favorite artist is you. My major at the university is Art Education: Figure drawing is my next subject in the fall semester. Thank you so much for organizing well for the lessons.
Thank you very much. I followed the steps, but my drawings were not really accurate. Though, I didn't care because I had fun practising with you. Also, everyone remember to draw based on the reference ball this guy has prepared for you rather than just copying what he was drawing in the video. It helps you understand the forms a lot more😊
Check out David Finch's head drawing tutorial, he uses a variation of the Loomis method to teach you how to break the head down to its respective planes for more accurate and consistent anatomy shapes.
why didn't I have this 1 year ago???? I needed this so much thank you for this I've been drawing people from the front and only the front for my entire life (yea...) finally, I'm not afraid to do different angles you deserve my sub so much
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. Figure drawing is always my struggle. But since i came across your channel it has really helped me in improving my drawing skill. Thanks again chommang for inspiring us with your talents. God bless you and your family. Sending ❤ from Malaysia
Oh my gosh. I'm learning so much from you! I love your style and love that I can understand what you're drawing and why! I have no words to describe how grateful I am to have found your channel a week ago.
this helped a lot, right now i am pretty decent with drawing humans but maybe an art block hit me hard to the point i can't draw a head any more, and this really helped me get back on my feet, thanks!
oh my gosh it took me so long to just do it because I never wanted felt the real need to do it. Such art block stoped me from doing this. But now that I have tried it, it's great. It came out meh pretty bad on my first try but I loved it, I loved that I could dislike it as thats apart of the process. Thank you for making a great guide thats fun to do and try.
I think i understood whats my problem with faces, its not the structure, its the detail, when i draw details from imagination, they all turn out weird, this video was a great eye opener! I thought "My methods are wrong, i should watch a pro's technique" and get to watch lots of pros talking about loomis method, which i didnt undrstood (the only one i understood 3/4th was proko's) but this one, the way you did it is the same as how i create a base, but now i know, i need to focus on my features more
Straight to the point. No boring, pointless intro. Awesome!
U accidentally put a comma after boring
@Blitz01 they are actually correct. when you use two adjectives for one subject, you add a comma to separate them.
@@Blitz01 no, I didn't "accidentally" do that
Never knew, a ball of styro with it’s side cut off helped me so much in drawing faces. Chomnang helped me so much
I watch your movies every day and practice with them. They change my drawings much, and thank for your super easy understanding lesson!
Thank you for your support!! 😊🙏

Do we put the lower part of chin at the same length from circle as from brow line to center of eyes?
You don't draw with your eyes
Thanks

How do we find the chin end point? Got lost from the very first head drawing.
I personally cut the circle in half and add the chin one half of it below
