Something here leaves me questioning whether the jump starter had another defect, since the display kept showing 100% notwithstanding how many times it was used for a jump, even though the unit and it's wires got hot. Zero energy used for jumps and heat? Sounds like perpetual motion--or another issue with the unit.
That's what I did and it's been ok. I didn't think that a dead battery would drain the other two. I figured it would just be dead and wouldn't charge 🤷🏽♂️
Sorry for the late reply. i like the jump pack. It seems to work as advertised. If you're looking for a jump pack, I think it'll work ok for you. I disconnected the bad battery.
This model disappeared from Aliexpress, I was between the 6000a and the 6250a. I hope they come back with the announcement. The product says it can power up to 13L diesel, do you have any idea how many the bus is?
@@HFG the smart adapter has a button, correct? Per instructions you need to press the Boost button when jumpstarting completely dead batteries to override smart feature. The adapter was not defective, you are hurting companies by testing products without doing the due diligence.
The relay inside the smart adapter was defective so no matter what I did it wouldn't have mattered. I talked with the company about it before I ever got the jump pack. They wanted me to use it on a completely dead battery and told me just to connect it and start it. If they relay inside hadn't broken it would have started. 👍🏼

Perhaps disconnect the bad battery from the two decent ones. Bad one has dead cell or shorted. Just a thought

There was a broken relay in that little box. Just one of those things. JF Egwo doesn't build the relays so it's not their fault. 👍🏼

I have the same unit, If you read the owners manual/ directions your school bus would have started right away.

The cable is too weak, you need NOCO GB70 or GB150 thick cable
Just working with what was supplied with the jump pack for the review. The cable in the bus is factory. 👍🏼
