For me, this fall is going to be crazy! Dragon Age: The Veilguard and the next Life is Strange have me so hyped, they are my two favorite franchises. Also interested in a lot of indies shown lately. I was in the same shoes as you, the closure of Tango hit me really hard and I lost hope in the industry for a while. Now I have a lot of things to look forward to, hope we can keep up this momentum!
I'm excited for you! Those two games I almost had in this list because they look good, but I haven't actually played either series so it felt disingenuous to share! Glad to see another person recommend them! I'm playing through Hi-Fi Rush right now and wow, what a glorious game. I am really excited for the future, I just wish talented developers (who also made a successful game!!!) could feel secure in their jobs. 💜
the standouts to me are doom the dark ages and metroid 4. both of those were just riveting trailers, with the pacing fitting each game's vibe well. they're both gonna be some stellar experiences!
Metroid Prime 4 and Doom The Dark Ages are for sure going to be tough acts to follow next year. Honestly my thumbnail tells it all! I think Astro Bot is the only other one that truly matches the hype level for me!
Monster Hunter has always been a series my friends around me play, but I just got into the series way too late myself. By the time I finally got Rise, most of my friends had already beaten the whole game and farmed for the top gear and stuff and I didn't want to make them retread through all of it, you know? I did have my fun with my Turok-inspired character that I made, though. Maybe this time around I'll jump on the train early. It certainly looks like a ton of fun.
Nice Video dude! I don't usually get excited for new games until they're released, as they often require a few months of post-launch updates to become playable. However, I'm genuinely interested in the new Age of Mythology and quite excited for the upcoming Doom (just looks so damn cool). I'm also curious about the new Dragon Age, although I'm skeptical about the current BioWare. P.S.: There's no need to emulate Perfect Dark on N64; it has been ported to PC by the community.
Thank you! I'll have to look into that PC port -- I also have it in the Rare Replay Collection so I might try it that way. Age of Mythology looks so fun and crisp, and yeah, Doom looks *incredible*. I've heard mixed things about BioWare too, so maybe it's good to wait and see how that one pans out.

personally as someone who's been playing monster hunter for years, I can't wait for wilds. I also think medieval doom looks insane

How did you missed the biggest release of them all: Hello Kitty Island Adventure
... You just made me realize that I need to take this video down and amend it.
I was hoping i missed some. I just don't see any games I'm hyped for. 2022, 2023, and 2024 have been unbelieveably stacked so it may be backlog time.
I'm sorry nothing that's coming out excites you, but backlog time isn't a bad thing either! For the most part, that's what this year has been for me.
