Nice work, mine that I've just bought is in a bit in need of tlc too, going to live with it for a while but will have a go at polishing up the lights and stuff when I get time, you seem to have got decent results there.
The TF front end look much better with the fog lights, I am sure you have but it is worth with the bumper off inspecting the radiator, mine was in a terrible state at the bottom.
And here I thought that headlight was toast. Nope, nice save! The fog lights are a sweet upgrade. If it'll work in your case, an original-equipment switch in the original-style location would make the installation seamless. I did something similar to my '95 Mustang back in the day.
Thanks for showing the mistake. Sometimes stuff happens. Good save . Quick tip though. You might want to use UV coating on the headlights to stop them going cloudy again, if you ever see sun in the UK again! 😅
Noticed your break calipers have been repainted, to make them look like orginal, trick i used is a blade from a stanley knife, and you can remove the paint from the MG logo and lines either side looks so much better then.....
Madness you start one job and it snowballs into something much bigger the joys of old motorcars .Buy A British sports car they said no one mentioned the dodgy build quality art the amount of rust or the Shearer frustration of a seed Boult or screw AYet we still love them😅😅😅
Excellent video..... loving this car!!!

Good luck!.... it's all fun.
Great stuff, can't wait for this to be on the road......... get the MOT done man!!!
Oh! A fellow budget TF runner!
Hi buddy, I've been watching your channel too, good stuff. I think its more fun innovating on a shoe string. 😀
@@Exhausted-autos Indeed it is! My Rover 216 project is testing the theory atm though. 😂 And MY TF is currently for sale.

Mine looked ok, baring the rusty strip I showed on the video. 👍👍

Yeah I thought it was aswell.... the price of a new replacement and bad quality of the second hand ones made it worth a shot. 👍👍
Great progress so far! Really looks immensely better from the front end work too, looks a car worth far more.
Thanks buddy, she's coming along nicely...

Good video mate ... loads done, the art of ruining something but saving it from being thrown away. That's what it is all about.
Thanks buddy, that's why we muck about with these knackered old cars in the first place 😀😀👍👍
@@Exhausted-autos and don't we love it lol.

The bonnet is a different colour

...too tru buddy, it would be boring if it was easy. 👍👍
I’ve done this but found that after a couple of months the lights need cutting back again….
Yeah, they probably will.... these cars like to keep us busy.
Hi Craig have you got a link for the 20 pound fog lights remeber they will need to be wired up and working for the mot if fitted they have to work
They were used ones from Ebay, so no link unfortunately.
They'r 90% wired up, I'll finish the rest tomorrow, so good to go for the mot👍👍👍
