Hi Pete¡¡¡ I followed you're page .... I have a problem I was pulling the solenoid out and the pistons pop out, I have install the ones on side I just missing the piston on the middle, the spring looks different. Hope u can help me
Hello. I just purchased an 04 rave4 that will shift into neutral when it goes to upshift. If you let the car sit awhile and restart it its fine for awhile then does it again. Any ideas?
I hired a mobile mechanic to fix my transmission problem. I ordered the solenoid online that he told me to purchase. When he was finished, the car suddenly won’t go into reverse, it’s difficult to shift into park, and the car wants to drive forward when in neutral. He says they sent me the wrong part. We went down to an auto parts store and they confirmed that we ordered the correct solenoid for my vehicle, but they are saying it is possible that they still sent me the wrong one. Without spending several more hours removing it from the car, we can’t really confirm whether they sent the right one or not. However, all the guys in the auto parts store said that the mechanic must have messed with the linkage, Which he claims he definitely did not. My question is, if they sent us the wrong part, would he have even been able to connect it, or would it cause this kind of new transmission problem?
I keep getting P0741 but only when I drive at highway speed. City driving it does not come back. My transmission randomly started slipping one day and I immediately changed the fluid and the problem resolved but that code keeps coming up. It drives and shifts like nothing is wrong. Im thinking maybe the TCC is the problem.
Hi Peter...I have a toyota Rav4 4×4...when you engage drive...there is no power...it can't climb a hill and when you engage Reverse...it engages with a strange sound...can you help me sove it...

What ohms should read? All of them
Peter, I have a code P0758 on my RAV year 1996. Do you know what exactly solenoid might have a issue, and what replace part I could buy to replace it?
