Awesome vid! Btw on the early models with the cam sensor, you can delete it by installing an aftermarket ignition module like the TC88. Keep killing it 💪
That’s what we doing all of them it’s just a little on the expensive side. We switch them over to Daytona twin tech Ignition systems

What springs should I put in the front of an iron 1200? My dirt bike wheelies are comfy enough I wanna try a few on the sporty. But I need some guidance on front springs.

Screaming Eagle cams are chain drive. If the cams are actually gear, they are S&S. Or S&S/Andrews.
Forgive my ignorance but what is desireable about the DX front end? It has dual discs which is always nice, but is there anything about the cartridge setup that is special?
It’s probably the only good suspension that Harley Davidson ever made. If you put a Race Tech spring in the front of these it is the best front end there is. And if you can find one that the rear shocks are still in good shape they’re also very good
Towards the end of the mods, what was that blue tube you were running down through the triple tree ?
It’s a free flow hose hooked to the little tiny charcoal canister. It just regulates pressure to your gas tank it’s your breather

How much for the dual gauges?
I see a lot of you guys riding TC88's, what do you prefer to do in order to deal with the cam tensioner issue? Gear drive or hydraulic tensioners?
I never run gear drives in twin cam motor I think it’s garbage. We convert them to either Feuling or S&S cam plates with hydraulic tensioners and single roller chains

@@__tacocat__ Tensioners aren’t that big of a deal. You just need to change them every 25,000 miles or so. They were good.
I have an 07 wide glide I want to start stunting on. Do I need to get rid of the forward controls and swap to mids?
You need to get rid of that bike and buy a Dyna not a wide glide.
DX and DXT's are f*cking expensive in California. I have a mint one have had for a while and went to find another one and was shocked at the prices. You got a deal.

I'm looking for some input on tire selection if someone is just getting into stunt riding. Seems like wheelies and drifting need different rubber, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to work smarter not harder here...
Stickier the better when you’re trying to learn wheelies. But not for drifting. Dunlop 402 is a great all around tire

I have a legit question, I have a late model DXDB and finding it hard to drift and do rollies on. Would this be the ABS? And what can be done to remedy this?
You can’t do any of that with ABS. You need to get rid of it completely.

why do you like 49mm on early model dynas?
Just a much better more rigid front end. The 39 flex badly. Early model with a 49 is the best handling bike I’ve ever rode. And good suspension in the 49 and on the rear

Can you please explain to me about the headset and Roddy Willys does that mean you’re going to kind of talk you through rotten willies on the headset because I come from a motocross background I can ride a wheelie on a crotch rocket and I can’t get my 117 to write a Willie because it just wants to melt the tire because I put big cams in different throttlebody and a few odds and ends their TT a tuner TBR custom race pipe
Stock motor is best for Wheelie’s were 95 inch of the biggest. Honestly I didn’t understand the rest of the question, I believe you are a fellow talk Texter?
