Outside taps in the UK if a hose will ever be fitted at anytime, must be fitted at source under water byelaws with a double check valve to stop back flow, and fitted inside the building
@@HouseWarm I'm not slagging your work off, I held advanced craft City and Guilds in plumbing and heating and did the job for 46 years before I retired and only mentioned it as if your showing people how to some something it should be right
Yeah, I won't be uploading an outside tap install video again if I don't fit the double check valve internally. Had so many angry plumbers on Facebook and tiktok pointing it out (amongst many other things). Appreciate you being respectful as I usually block and delete when they're not.

Yeah, I know it's meant to be inside but there's one in the tap.
@@HouseWarm They can only be used if replace a tap already there which was installed before 1999 not for a new installation
I know, but sometimes I don't. Just like I usually silicone the backplate but sometimes I don't 🤷
