Can i change the radiator valve without turning off the lock sheild. I think the lock sheild is jammed and im not able to turn it off. Lock sheild is not with a cap on top of it but a plastic knob with + and - sign on top of it to rotate it to turn it on or off.

The blue knob on the left doesnt turn for me, the one on the right does though. I also have 2 black knobs but turning those does nothing.

Lifesaver mate! Quick question. I reset the boiler to just over 1 and 8 hours later it’s dropped halfway between 1 and 0.5 (so 0.75 approx). Obviously that’s a bad sign. Can I keep re-setting it every few days and what’s the issue? Thanks

Brilliant mate thanks. What if you need the garden hose a few rooms away from mains water supply? For example if you have a garden out the living room but water supply is in kitchen around 10 meters away? Would you just run pvc pipe through a discreet location? Best suggestion?

Very simple fix for the Baxi, Potterton and Main E119 error which is for low boiler pressure. The E119 fault code should disappear when the pressure is increased.
