I use this heater in the v-berth of my little sailboat and sometimes my blankets fall in front of it and there's not really much room, stuff gets in front of it and so far it has not damaged anything, I feel pretty comfortable that it's not going to catch anything on fire, it's pretty safe. The temperature got down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit here in southern Texas and the little heater gave me cozy night's sleep without having to worry about being blown up or burned to death. I know it has happened to others in other circumstances. And at the very end of the video you showed how to clean this filter that was completely clogged up and this heater is now making a tremendous difference in this super cold time! Thank you very much for that piece of information! Made a bunch of difference.

I just bought 2 today at Walmart, the price was $39.99. At self checkout, they rang up $5 each.. Winning. I can't believe the difference just 1 has made in the comfort level of this tiny home.

I bought one at TJ Max for $ 12.00 a couple of weeks ago in Ohio. This heater is amazing. My friends used one in their garage all winter long. It stayed nice and toasty in there, so I was excited to purchase one when I saw it. 👍👍 I highly suggest the Handy Heater !!

Great little heaters. It got me through a cold spell with flying colors. It was colder here a few weeks ago than it has been for many years. It got down to +11F. I remember it getting down to +8 F 25 or 30 years ago. That is as cold as I ever remember it being down here in the deep south. We usually go with short sleeves all winter.

Love your video on this heater...was nice to sit & watch this as you run through the features. My friend & I have 5 of these which paid off when we lost the furnace last winter in a vacant house we were watching for friends out of town. These heaters placed around the house kept the house pretty warm during 0-15 above temps outside....but barely. The issues we ran into was after the furnace was repaired and we gather them up to clean and put away...some of the developed a off set vibration with the fans inside the unit. This vibrations seems to be like the bearings going out or a sleeve inside the fan motor warping out producing a noticeable vibration and running slower as well. It would stop if you ran it for a few minutes then select off and right back on - it would eventually get balanced and run through again. I believe 3 out of 5 units developed this after about 100 hours of running time. Hope this helps.

Just picked one up today at WalMart due to no other small heaters being available. It shut off by itself during the first run. But now I've got it on a lower setting. See how it does as the winter months wind down. I've got a gas furnace in the apartment. But it only heats up the living room and kitchen. Older place.

If you have been debating buying it, here is the truth: $39.95 is $10 too high IMO but worth the buy. I put it down by my feet in the office, and my office has NO heat or A/C (no duct work). It works fine. Cool to the touch with tip over protection. Only thing I hope someone can answer, because I threw my damn manual out, is will the unit auto shutoff if you leave running for hours? To no one's surprise, it's made in China. Hopefully no listening device in it.

I purchased a Handy Heater Pure Warmth a few days ago at Walmart for $29.99 + tax - I plugged the heater into a power strip Surge protector and the heater went off within 10 minutes of operating. I want to share with everyone here - that you should not plug your heater, nor an electric fireplace, into any surge protector or extension cord - the heater will continue to turn off. You need to plug the heater directly into a wall plug - it requires it's own circuit - (I did not know this) - I also own an electric fireplace and plugged it into a power strip surge protector and the fireplace kept turning off - as soon as I plugged the electric fireplace into an actual wall outlet in my bedroom, the fireplace stayed on - I don't know why I thought that because the Handy Heater was so little that any power strip surge protector would work, but I was wrong. Ask in Google search for yourself - You don't want an overheated heater and you don't want a fire caused by overheated circuits. I hope this helps.

Worst heater I have ever owned. Extremely loud fan, gutless, continually turning itself off to stop itself overheating.

I bought two And my second one just stopped working on me. I'm very disappointed. It seems as if you were to blow hard on it by clapping hands together it'll go out it no longer serves its purpose you have to throw it
