I was also wondering if her giant lightning bolt destroyed the plant while she burst out of the cave 😂 While she was flying around the deserts, lakes and even into space/upper atmosphere (whatever you wanna label it as), the whole time I was like; "Ororo, I'm happy you got your powers back and imma let you finish but Forge is literally still dying back in that cave..."
As epic as the Storm and Rogue moments were, can we give props to Jean? Seriously, this woman pulled off what I believe to be her greatest non-Phoenix feat yet in Episode 7! When she held up a HUGE chunk of the building they were in before Trask blew it up, tossed it out of the city safely into the water without an orgasmic groan AND SHE DIDN'T FAINT!!!! I was shocked! She even put up a bit of a fight before getting knocked out, but I was just blown away that she was able to do that!
That felt like a direct response to the time in the OG show where a much smaller building fell and Jean could barely hold it for a few seconds. The show runners definitely thought "No no. That ain't Jean Grey. We'll show you the REAL Jean."

The moment Rogue wagered Steve wasn't standing WITH mutants and tossed his shield into the horizon, my mind instantly went to; "OMG THEY ARE PROBABLY SETTING UP AVENGERS VS. X-MEN!!! In this episode, we see most of the team doubting Xavier's teachings/dream. Scott was thinking Magneto was right, Beast was reflecting on how near sighted Xavier was and Rogue went...well Rogue haha all the while Logan is in the background going, "Hmmm bout time you all saw things my way..."

Dude imagine if the showrunners/writers/etc did in fact do a Spider-Man '98 and tackled scary Symbiote Peter, or even those moments where he is angry at everyone for not appreciating him. This show is really giving us these heroes pushed over the edge.
Cap wasn’t concerned about optics from Americans, he was concerned about Mexico going to war with America if they saw him bashing innocent heads for no reason, and he’s concerned about mutant/human tensions raising in general which is why he was trying to calm Rogue down, he’s trying to de-escalate not escalate. Rogue was going overboard with her rampage, she surely killed at least a few innocent soldiers and gave humans more reasons to hate/fear/attack them, but Cap never judged her for it as he was completely unphased by her shield toss. The MCU Caps would’ve done the same, they’d want to help the X-Men/mutants but not Rogue’s rampage nor escalate conflicts.

Episode 7 is definitely my favorite one other than Episode 5 because it was fun, epic, satisfying and left us wanting more especially as we get closer to these last 3 episodes while also seeing Bastion earn a spot on my ALL TIME FAVORITE VILLAINS LIST. Oh and when I first heard Bastion, I thought he sounded like Jeff Goldblum and I so can’t wait for Storm to return now that she got her powers back

Episode 7 is definitely my favorite one other than Episode 5 because it was fun, epic, satisfying and left us wanting more especially as we get closer to these last 3 episodes while also seeing Bastion earn a spot on my ALL TIME FAVORITE VILLAINS LIST. Oh and when I first heard Bastion, I thought he sounded like Jeff Goldblum and I so can’t wait for Storm to return now that she got her powers back

I don't know if that Captain America is Steve. Steve is in a dimensional warp with Red Skull in this continuity. He was pulled out in Spider-Man a a couple times but always put back. Also Wolverine visited Steve's grave in X-Men TAS...This could be U.S. Agent....

Wolverine wasn't visiting Steve's grave, but the grave of the scientist he and Steve were trying to rescue in the 1940s
