I’m loving how you thoroughly explain w/o rambling on and on! It makes things so much easier to grasp! Thank you!

Thank you for this tutorial. I have purchased your Craftsy classes and watch them over and over. I, like many others, am a visual learner with a slight learning disability. Step by step visual instruction is key for me. Thank you again for ALL your hard work in making these videos available. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

This cast on is a treat to learn. I wonder if it can be used for most things.

Wow, this is what I've been doing for years. I thought it was just a regular long-tail cast on! haha

So… this is a little more challenging for us English knitters, but it can be done. I had to try it a few times before figuring it out, but I measured 4 lengths of the swatch rather than 3 1/2… I think my gauge towards the last few stitches may be tight, but I’ll measure the middle to see how it goes. But this may prompt me to try Continental again… at least for some projects! (Still like this technique!)

This looks amazing, and I am going to try it right now. But I do have a question; I have been making my gauge swatches about five inches like you recommend, but I’ve seen people measure over two inches rather than four to get stitches per inch. If you are only measuring two inches of the swatch, then wouldn’t a four inch swatch be large enough?
