They'll randomly pick one of the Pokémon species available on the board and erase 10 icons of that species. If RNG isn't on your side, they'll end up removing the least numerous Pokémon, decreasing damage and combo potential.
@@kingmario1594 Well a couple years ago his channel was mainly focused on Pokémon Shuffle and he did a ton of videos on it, but he got burned out of the game and stopped making videos on it. He dedicated his channel to Monster Hunter after that and for some reason he deleted all his Pokemon Shuffle content. I have no idea what happened to his channel now, since it has no videos at all anymore. I hope he's okay, because I used to love his channel when it had Pokémon Shuffle walkthroughs. Those videos were so helpful.

Personally, my favorite is Gengar. Having to use only 1 Mega Speedup to maximize its potential made it extremely useful, especially on the Safaris and any sort of Psychic or Ghost type stages. I'm slowly working on speeding up my Rayquaza (I'm at about 12/20 right now), and that's probably the one I use the next most often.

Type-wise, Mega Winking Audino never really has much usage; it could see some use with an Arceus Double-Normal team, but overall, can be easily replaced very well by Gengar, Shiny Gyarados, or Rayquaza.
M-Winking Audino has a good mega ability. It just needs to get some RML's on it like its fellow normal type Megas in Kangaskhan and Lopunny because max power of 70 just won't cut it and good luck trying to get Double Normal to activate.
(ik this is an older Comment) Marko, it wouldn't. We don't have Any Fairy damage multiplier Pokemon yet... Arceus is also very strong and thanks to double Normal, Mega Audino, Arceus, Slaking and Porygon2 can destroy some Stages.
It's probably a good thing mega rayquaza doesn't get rid of pokemon of the same typing with the release of zygarde 100% and Kyurem's 2 forms SUPER OP and broken.
Damn, I'm even more disappointed now that I've missed Mega Beedrill back then. When I went to sleep in the evening my rank was high enough for the mega stone, yet in the morning I didn't get it :( Probably got kicked out by some better players over night... Same thing happened with Mega Pidgeot... I hope they're coming back some day.
Mega Gallade then Mega Pinsir, I know it's a long shot but it would be nice. I.e M. Garchomp wil be next since Manaphy (Winking) safari is out, maybe but I'm sure of it
I guess developers have created a tool more powerfull than they imagine. The idea of the mega effects that freeze the screen and wait for certain fixed number of inputs to make some effect after is being poorly explored in my opinion. What have they created? Only plus and square shaped around the spot(s) you tap. Here are some ideas: * little X shaped around taps (similar to the plus shapes) * the effect clears only where you tap (for exempla, tap 5 spots and the effect will clear just where you tapped) * clear all lines and columns of yours taps, that is, a 'big plus shaped' (for example, tap in 2 spots: you tap A1 and B2. Then the mega effect clears all A and B columns and all 1 and 2 lines). * you tap in one spot and the mega effect is somewhat like m-rayquaza's effect taking that icon as a base (for exemplo, the screen freezes and you tap a pikachu. Then up to some amount of pikachu are removed) ... and many others.. imagination is the limit.
If it's a list of top 10 mega EFFECTS, why is beedrill placed higher than camerupt/shiny ray/aggron/ttar? being able to evolve faster is the merit of mega beedrill itself, not its mega effect. I think that the 4 + tappers are objectively better than any other mega effects. There are basically only 3 main factors to consider. 1. combo potential 2. how little it's hindered by disruption 3. usability in multiple stages with multiple support pokemon + tappers are definitely top-tier in all 3. Not being able to use the taps well shows a lack of skill rather than the mega effect having a lack of viability.
Beedrill is very useful for S Ranking main stages -- especially the 15 moves ones where even T-Tar can have issues going in blind. ^^ The one turn mega evolution is what makes Beedrill stand out. I think the Top 6 is very debatable so we tried to evaluate each mega's strengths under ideal circumstances. :)
I think the main issue with his argument is that the 3x3 "mega effect" is not mutually exclusive(?) for getting the effect online in 1 match (3 icons). If we had a future mega pokemon that had a 3x3 mega effect, it wont necessarily be a 3 icon match to get it online. In that regard, he was being more critical that a single tap 3x3 buster doesn't have as much utility/versatility in stages as the 2x or 3x tap +buster. I did enjoy the videos though, well made. Cross-promotion! It's a great way to get both guys equal exposure and to bring in more viewers to their respective channels as well as splitting up the views. This is where I say I completely disagree with both of you on who is number 1. I say M-Tyranitar and M-Aggron are the best megas so far. M-Rayquaza has a good combo potential but it doesn't eliminate disruptions at all. As to M-Tyranitar and M-Aggron they do get rid of disruptions and have combo potential.
Derek Nino Under many right circumstances, I completely agree. One of the great things in this game is the freedom to try stages with whichever Mega you find most useful for that stage. Clearly, some stages are perfect for certain Megas, and I cannot deny the versatility that Tyranitar has, especially around disruptions. I truly respect your opinion and acknowledge that this list is completely subjective based on our personal experiences.

Actually they remove icons in a clockwise movement, but the icons that are removed is completely RNG. Same thing goes M-Aerodactyl, M-Steelix, etc.
I just don't like that it takes tons of candies to speed up mega evolution. Otherwise yes I agree with your lists and you both did a great job!
