What's new on the Pioneer Platform V6?

Rhino Rack have released the new Pioneer Platform V6 and as I'm bolting them to my Ford Ranger and Everest, what better time than to have a quick look at some of the new features on these redesigned racks.

So, what is the long term news on the platform6? I am just about to purchase one for my 2018 Everest

The biggest problem with the Zwifloc is the price...essentially $15.00 USD each.....or in your money nearly $100 AUD for a set of four. Has Rhino Rack lost touch with reality? What if you lose one in the bush....what other options will fit on the new version 6 mounting slots or is the Zwifloc the only option?

That sounds a bit steep for sure! They're commonly available here for around $60AUD for a pack of 8.

Seems like RR wants to soak more money out of the Off Road community.
New product that requires the use of new fixings unless you think ahead and install them before rack assembly.
