  • The Rhino-Rack Backbone, designed to complement the much-anticipated next gen Ford Ranger, is finally here!
    ‘Built Rhino Tough’ and vigorously tested to meet the needs of any adventurer, the Rhino-Rack Backbone (RFRB3) is the most highly anticipated fit for the new P703 Ford Ranger. Paired with the Pioneer Platform (52100), this stylish duo is compatible with the XL, XLS, XLT, Sport and Wildtrak variants. Functionality uncompromised, this combination utilises 100% of the vehicle’s roof to maximise load and storage space, ready for any overlanding adventure. The RFRB3 requires no drilling, uses pre-existing factory roof mounting points, has concealed fixing for seamless transition between product and vehicle, and comes with a comprehensive step-by-step installation guide - if you choose to install it yourself.

    Could have just added rivnuts to the pre drilled holes. Would have saved you from taking all that interior trim off. They can provide similar uplift force strength as nuts and bolts if the correct ones are chosen.

    Hi, I’m following your instructions and I have one question…do I also have to remove the engine ,transmission and spare tire to fit this backbone? I’m a bit confused 🤔

    Do you know if the Raptor comes with the pre drilled holes?

      Hi there, yes they do - the install process is the same for the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor. You can find further details here: www.rhinorack.com/en-au/products/roof-racks/cross-bar-roof-racks/pioneer-platform/pioneer-platform-1528mm-x-1236mm-with-backbone_jc-01542. Thank you

    What’s the advantage with this rather than a crossbar and tray system?

    • @RhinoRackAustralia
      @RhinoRackAustralia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Blake, it depends on what you need to carry on your roof. The Pioneer Platform gives you more space to mount accessories, whereas a crossbar system you are limited to what you can carry between the bars. A crossbar system is perfect for carrying longer items like kayaks and bikes, we have a range of accessory holders to suit. If you're wanting to carry multiple items like jerry cans, recovery tracks or a swag the Pioneer may be the best option for your needs. If you have any further questions you can reach out to our team at customerservice@rhinorack.com.au for assistance. Thank you!
