If you're in Victoria for instance you should be planting Acacia Dealbata or Mearnsii which occur naturally instead of Baileyana which is from NSW. Some plants from one part of a state are considered weeds when planted on the other side of the same state. If you're not in Australia you probably shouldn't be planting any Acacias.
