- I have a lot of catching up to do! I don’t usually buy this amount of books all at once, unless they are second hand. But these stories have been carefully selected and I really look forward to reading every single one. After this, it’s probably going to be library books and audiobooks for the foreseeable future! Which I’m perfectly happy with! 😄
If you have been around the book world for a while, you will probably recognize most of the titles in this haul, but there is a really good mix of genres, and some lesser known titles, so there’s a good chance you’ll find something that stands out to you.
According to the genres listed on goodreads, these titles include: Literary, Historical, Contemporary, Fantasy, Magical realism, Romance, Young Adult, Short stories, Horror, Crime, Humor, Race, and Queer!
All of them are fiction, most of them are written by women, and most of them have female characters and female perspectives. As per usual!

The cover for The House of Fortune you have is so much prettier than the one I have 😜 Excellent book haul, so many great books, and most of them I am curious to read as well. I'm also very curious about the Sàmi people, their history, and culture.
It’s so pretty 😍 I like the big size too, just wish they matched! Yes I felt like I was just picking the topping of all the cakes haha hopefully they live up to the hype, but that’s the benefit of a couple of wildcards, less expectations on those. I’m also curious about the Sámi people, I have some understanding but not as much as I feel like I should. They have and informational website but only in Swedish I think. There are more sources of course but first hand is always preferable
