@@3Delite028 you already have. the large 3d printed axis brackets with provisions for the lead screw and linear rod are brilliant. definitely using that design. but i wonder if the lead screw isn't painfully slow. if you had to do it again but get more speed out of it, maybe a belt drive, probably not. ballscrew would be really fast, but also really expensive...

This is not that slow. Feed rate was slow since i was testing it for first time. Ball screws are ultimately best choice quite expensive though. In Next project perhaps i will go with ball screws.
