In my humble opinion - it's a big deal because it's all about leadership and accountability. It sets the tone for the lockerroom and teammates that your veteran QB is there. Is it okay for a rookie to go to Egypt? In a world of what have you done for me lately, Aaron hasn't produced yet, so I'd be a little annoyed if Aaron wasn't there after the amount of money they paid him and have gotten nothing in return yet.

The only reason this has become as big a deal as it is would be because of the way Saleh, Rodgers and the Jets handled this. First off didn’t Rodgers say himself Jets need all distractions out of the building essentially to focus on football? Because every practice you might see something once, and when it comes up in a game that one time you are ready for it. Idk why its crazy to say this might hurt. ESPECIALLY when everyone complains how quality is dropping off because your practices are reduced and cut back.
