  • Hi guys!
In this video I show you exactly how to carry out a complete 4x4 vehicle service and check over. I carry out the service on my 2018 Isuzu Mu-x and demonstrate what to check and change.
I show you how to replace the Engine Oil and Filter, Air Filter, Pollen Filter and Fuel Filter. I also show you how to replace the Front and Rear Diff oil. I demonstrate how easy it is for you to maintain your own four wheel drive vehicle at home.
I talk you through the steps involved in carrying out the service and check over correctly and without any mistakes.
Thanks alot for watching guys! If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more videos like this. Please like and Subscribe to my channel : )

Hey mate I just purchased a dmax that is approaching 170k . It has no service history...
Anything major you'd recommend checking besides fluids ect?

Hi Nick, it is ok to use SAE 10W-30 engine oil for 2020 - 2.5 L diesel Dmax? I am very confused as my dealer says I can use both 30 or 40 engine oil and my manual does not mention the specific oil recommended by manufacturer. Thanks for your feedback.

A 10w30 or 10w40 should be fine to use in the engine. :)

Hi Nick, Thank you for the great tutorial. Nick, just bought a 2009 DMAX and would like to replicate your service here. Though, I am a little confused re the engine oil you specify. You state that you are using Fully Synthetic Valvoline 5W-30 Synpower. Though, both Repco and Supercheap say that this oil is not suitable. Can you please confirm whether it is the Synpower 'MSTC4' or another. Cheers.

Hi Mark, I now use Penrite Enviro+ 10w40 but my vehicle is a 2018 model with dpf. Your 2009 model would more then likely use 10w40 or 15w40. The best thing to do is give your local auto store your registration and they can look up what oil is recommended for your vehicle :)
