I love comparing and contrasting photographers' work! Neither is "worse" or "better" than the other, it's just about how different artists have different perspectives too.
Yesss completely agree! It was really fun for me too seeing both our different styles of shooting and directing :)
i love how both photographers manage to show the connection between the couple and pose them quite similarly but Julia has much more greenery in her images whereas Mitch has a more industrial vibe to his

Any tips on what Aperture I should use when I do couple photoshoot? I have been using f1.4 but it's blurry on the person a little toward the back end. Plus should I still have eye focusing on for couple? (I have a a6400 that I been using).

Really cool to see how differently you both used the location, and directed the couple as well! Sometimes people can seem very set in their way or a particular look, but I always admire photographers who are constantly growing, adapting, improving, learning from others, and trying new things, having fun, and collaborating with other people! :))))

So I loved this video showed 2 different style .. his style felt more high fashion I guess like in his photos based on the couples facial expressions for most of the photos it felt like a fashion shoot n with Julia it felt free and I felt the warmth along side with the spark between the couples. Both did great but Julia took this one for sure.

Hi Julia I love your Videos!!! I just upgraded to a full frame camera and because of you and your videos its a sony 7iii :-) Would you mind writing your most common settings in this shoot? I have problems getting two people in focus with the sony.... Which appeture do you use? What focus mode? AF-C or AF-S , Flexible spot (which size?) or "broad" Focus; eye focus? Where exactly do you focus on the couple, in case you use a flexible spot? Thank you so much for your videos. You are such an inspiration. Best wishes from Germany :-)
I took all my photos at f1.4 but if you struggle with getting focus I would recommend to start more at f2.8 with couples then slowly bring it down as you get used to it. I had my camera set to continuous AF with eye af turned on the entire time and I also had a small flexible focus point that I would always keep on one of their eyes/face 😊 it’s how I focus all my photoshoots now

How do you hit the shutter button so much when they were walking and not get the photos blurry ??
I have it on continuous AF with eye AF turned on, the Sony A7III is great at tracking movement and makes life super easy!
