I tried different proximity keys and nothing. I was told that there might have to be another step but no one know. Do you happen to know what that extra step is to get the key to work with proximity. Thank you. I'm using the autelim608pro and a proximity keyless factory key.

I bought the ignition and electronic control unit of another car from the internet. I installed it but it didn't work. If you virginize the ecu, will the problem be solved? I have a dxtool d7 pro device, can I introduce the new ecu with it?
Only if the ECU is not personalize on any car then you can relearn it in another car, but if the ECU is personalize in any car, it's has to be renew before you can relearn again.

This is applicable ONLY if ECU is new or virginized(reset) used donor ECU. If you get used donor you have to clear it first. As far as I'm concerned there's only way to do this on a bench, maybe thre's other otpions but im not aware

Error: the start enable signal was not issued by control unit -' Drive authorization system'. Will teach-in drive authorization and writing the VIN to the tcu solve the problem?
Yes, I believe 508 has same capabilities *IF* you by the xp400. The xp200 that comes with the 508 only does basic key programming. Aside from screen size, and a few other little bs incidentals, the only thing separating the 508 and 608 is that the 608 comes with xp400. Also don't be fooled by the "new xp400 pro" it is essentially the same as the original XP 400 except that it can't do RFID tags / cards.

You can write and also change Vin and activate at the same time without doing scn coding
ok great video, but u need mercedes star to do gear teach in for the ISM otherwise the car will start bt no drive... thanks for the video
You can also use im608 to teach in ism and vgs but relearning engine ECU get nothing to do with ism

Was there light on the dash when turned on ignition if there is no light replaced the car battery

Check the fuses first if none is blown scann the car and send me the trouble code

You can get ECU without doing scn coding, just do learning process and you are good to go

I don't know if dxtool can do that, but im608 and cgdi can do the job, but if the ECU is already virginized your system can merge it to the car

You need to do scn coding on the vgs4 , online programming will soft the issue, you need original MB star to do the programming and coding
