There is something so incredible about Avatar: The Last Airbender. I just watched the whole series again, now at 18 years old, and it just becomes obvious that you can watch this show at any age because it deals with such complex themes, intrinsic morals, and soul-searching character arcs. It is truly a masterful composition. The music is ingenious and transcendent even, as it evokes intense feelings that are nearly unidentifiable. The closest emotion that I would label it is like a deep sadness and a desire to be greater than what I am now, and a profound feeling of emptiness, yet fulfillment, as my epiphanic observations shine light on this emptiness...and that it is my life choices that have caused me to feel empty. The music reminds me of simpler times, and of darker ones. Yet it also gives me hope for the future, as well as apprehension. It's simply beautiful. M. Night Shyamalan should have at least tried to get the rights to use the original music because that would have probably boosted its 6% Rotten Tomatoes rating to a 30%.
megan schulze so do I. When I was a kid I loved it for battles and interesting story, now after rewatching it at 18 I realized how deep it is, especially Zuko’s line, it helps you to find yourself, realize what you want to do in this world, shows that it only depends from you and only you can choose your destiny

I always cry with this song 😭 I watched the series end and always have to think about the episodes and wish it would never stop but unfortunately there are only 3 seasons it is so sad that it is over 😭😭😭
When I was a kid, i focused more on Aang and I watched this show yearning to be a bender. I would be sad knowing the fact I would never be. I watched the show for the whimsy of it and the action. Now that I’m a teenager and I rewatched it, I focused more on Zuko. I watched it with personal growth on the mind. Feeling lost, losing people I thought were my friends and finding new ones I never expected, finding new mentors, learning new skills, losing love, finding love. So many emotions I felt during this difficult time of personal discovery and I felt them all over again watching Zuko go through the same things. This isn’t a “cartoon”. It’s a masterpiece for all ages to learn from. Excuse me as I continue to practice my tear bending.
Same here but rather than focusing on zuko, I honestly found myself looking at sokka a lot. Learning to be brave and be a leader and just trying my best to be what I knew I needed to be and what I knew I could be watching him go through the journey of finding what made him special among these people who had things that made them that way so naturally made me realize that I could be that to and that I was. The show truly is an inspiration to practially our whole generation with its amazing life lessons ot teaches i always learn something new
I own both Avatar and Korra and have showed it to both of my siblings (8 & 10) they absolutely love it and always want to rewatch it. (Currently rewatching both and now on Korra with my Fiancé)
This show consumed me from ages 5-8. It always got my family together to watch new episodes. And the finale was such a big deal to us. We all sat on the living room floor and had a picnic there. I wish another show would come along and create that kind of impact on my family again.
You should watch The Legend of Korra. It's the sequel to Avatar the last airbender. Might not beat avatar but it has more emotion and gets you thinking if the avatar is gonna loose. I still cry when she lost Rava
I miss these days.. Times of good cartoons with beautiful and sensitive music.. cartoons that took a permanent place in your heart.. a real story line, moment of grievance and real human bonding and reactions.. May this forever be remembered
Avatar the last airbender is undoubtedly the greatest show to have ever aired. Simply listening to this brings up unspeakable nostalgia. Especially the final part, which was the song played on the episode which was made in remembrance of iroh's voice actor. So many feels and memories from an amazing story.
Holy shit, I never knew this until now! I'm Dutch, and with The Last Airbender I was still watching the Dutch dubbed version on television, so there never was a voice change for the Dutch voice of Iroh and somehow totally missed the info about the original actor. This makes that episode and especially that part so much more emotional, wow
I just realized that "Peace" plays during the show's intro but is cut off when the fire nation attacks and never reaches the higher, happier notes until afterwards.

I started watching the series about a month ago and finished the last episode like literally 5-10 minutes ago and I'm smiling so hard it hurts while smothered in tears ;'''D
+Isabella Hanson Yeah. I finished the series not too long ago, and for some reason, when this song brought back memories from the show, I swear I felt like I was going to cry. And I never cry. Ever. Safe Return and the end of Peace made tears spring to my eyes, but the one that really got me was Leaves from the Vine. I keep remembering Iroh singing it while crying, during that one episode. T^T I just know I'm going to listen to this over and over.
Bella That One Ginger I have watched every single episode of avatar 5 times and the fifth tim3 was like 3 to 4 months ago I remember whAt happened still and who is in it
Same for me, I try to explain that there is so much more to the show than just a cartoon with cool bending. This show taught me so much about life and made me the person I am today. It really deals with complex feelings and situations and inspires me to be the best person I can, it is one of the reasons I believe that there is a point in being a good person and friend and to love.
The theme of Avatar's Love was always in my memory and are one of the few pieces that can make me cry of happiness, sadness, nostalgia. (Next to Hedwig's Theme of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone). 💖
2:25 makes me wish I could have that free and almost nomadic life of those guys who travelled with team avatar through those tunnels😭. Each and every theme song in avatar has a certain strong emotion it induces in me it's crazy!! It doesn't even feel like this show is for kids.
Thanks so much, the Av Avatar soundtrack is the best and leaves on the vine gave me goosebumps. It would be awesome if you could do some Legend of Korra too.
That is your succes. Wonderful record. Could you give sheets for your Mountains Piano Cover from Interstellar or a synthesia tutorial? It would be awesome too. I know there are lot of guys who wants like me too. Thanks
+cerniglia65 Soon, hopefully! I haven't transcribed it yet, but the response to this video has been very positive so I'll definitely start working on it soon. +Engin Özcan As requested, the sheets for "Mountains" are now on my website! Enjoy.
5:03 "Leaves from the vine Falling so slow Like fragile tiny shells Drifting in the foam Little soldier boy Come marching home Brave soldier boy Comes marching home"
Im binge watching the show for the first time! And I'm loving it! The story is fascinating. Earlier today I watched the episode where sokka is trying to prove that the fortune teller is a fake. It was hilarious😂. I'll continue unto the next episode at midnight. But I've noticed the strong chemistry between aang and katara. If they don't eventually share their feelings bruh😂😭or start something I'm going to be down.😂
I'm just drowning in nostalgia right now. The original Avatar: The Last Airbender was seriously my childhood. I loved all the characters, and I remember that my favorites were just literally everyone who's part of the gaang and their close allies, but the blind earthbender and founder of metalbending, Toph Bei Fong, was truly my favorite. I'm not saying that Korra is awful, I just like the original gaang more. I remember re-watching all the episodes more than once every week to the point where I could recite all their lines and backstories. When Korra came, I just missed the original characters even more. I missed the original gaang (Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and even Zuko and Suki are friendship goals tbh. Oh and of course, our beloved tea lover, Uncle Iroh.), I missed Appa and Momo, and I even missed the villainous characters. I was so happy when I found out that Toph had strong, bad-ass, and beautiful daughters, just like her. Lin and Suyin are some of my favorites in ATLOK. Thank you so much for your beautiful piano medley. It reminds me so much of my childhood.
I used to wake up at 6:00 am just to watch this show when I was little. Now I'm a teenager, and just finished rewatching it, and here I am sobbing not even two minutes in lol.
Iroh's Speech is such an underrated piece. Like not only was it incredible as a speech, but the music as well was like a wind up to what was about to go down.
Growing up watching this show made me feel like a badass bender. Watching it as an adult shows me the true hidden meaning of each episdoe. Geared towards both adults and children to like, Avatar is a true gem of a tv show. I'm glad that my children will be able to live in a world that produces this level of art. And thanks to you, for making this. I tearbend thinking about it.
This was absolutely incredible. As a musician, a music teacher, music lover, and massive Avatar fan, thank you for what you've done here. This brought so much joy to my heart to hear. You ended it perfectly by the way. The child inside me thanks you.
It's 2021 and this Legendary masterpiece is still getting attention and brings people (of any age, and any ethnicity) a feel of deep nostalgia, and big happy smiles on their faces, thank you Michael Dante DiMartino and Brian Kunietzco (sorry for the misspelling).

But when the world needed him most... He vanished. A hundred years has past and my brother and I found the new avatar, an airbender named aang. derp face Вода...
Is it weird that I got all weepy while listening to this? T_T the nostalgia of my childhood hits me right in the feels and I can't handle it... I want the sheet music. I can't play piano very well but mannnnn I'd practice this so hard until I could play it perfectly.
This is my favorite show ever, I still haven't seen the next one or whatever because I have just been watching this avatar series over and over again, it's so good. (;
This music gets me everytime. Still truly amazed you do this all by ear. Keep up the fantastic work, you deserve a million times more views and support.

Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony,
Then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked.
Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them.
But when the world needed him most....
He vanished!
A hundred years have passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar...
An air bender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he is ready to save anyone.
But I believe,

Uncle Iroh has the wisdom
I started watching the series about a month ago and finished the last episode like literally 5-10 minutes ago and I'm smiling so hard it hurts while smothered in tears ;'''D
one of my favourite series. So Epic
Great to have you in this fandom. It sure is a great one, we can assure you that.
I just know I'm going to listen to this over and over.
Bella That One Ginger bruh watched it 2 ago in 3 days
Bella That One Ginger I have watched every single episode of avatar 5 times and the fifth tim3 was like 3 to 4 months ago I remember whAt happened still and who is in it
I wish that my family appreciated art like this as much as do. They always dismiss animation as childish and never give it a chance.
Uncle iroh gave such good life advice. You can disagree with me all you want but we can have our own different opinions cuz that's how people work
Avatar had made me a better person
Its okay. We're here!! My family loves avatar too when I showed it to my mom we watched it all together
Tallyho some of my friends say the same thing. What a shame
all these iroh quotes are making me cry

Yeeees :'( Crybending so hard
Damn damn damn, i clicked on this, i feel now upset, and filled with nostalagia
The theme of Avatar's Love was always in my memory and are one of the few pieces that can make me cry of happiness, sadness, nostalgia. (Next to Hedwig's Theme of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone). 💖

And then again at 5:03 T_T
I wish I could experience this show for the first time again
Personal note. My grandfather passed away nearly 2 weeks ago, and your version of Leaves From The Vine really hit home for me. Made me think of him.
Been a fan of Avatar since 2005, your piece has brought me back to how sad I was when it ended, so beautiful.
The whole time I was like “maybe he won’t play it” and then he did, and I teared up.
2:25 makes me wish I could have that free and almost nomadic life of those guys who travelled with team avatar through those tunnels😭. Each and every theme song in avatar has a certain strong emotion it induces in me it's crazy!! It doesn't even feel like this show is for kids.
I’m here from 2019 almost 2020, I just rewatched the series it’s memorable and I miss it. Is anyone else here from 2019 or 2020 that miss it?
I just finished rewatching too! The nostalgia! I got so emotional rewatching and listening to this. Both complete masterpieces.

Who is 2020 ?, so while in quarantine i watch ATLA, im crying so hard. Like i watch that on 2011. Lol what am i thinking about :"(
Me!!!! And I still love it😭😭💜
Im binge watching the show for the first time!

This will forever remain my favorite show, ever. Long live the Last Airbender. You will always remain in my heart ❤️

OMG thanks for the likes, never got so many!
Can you please upload this to Spotify? My dad and I love it :)
I used to wake up at 6:00 am just to watch this show when I was little. Now I'm a teenager, and just finished rewatching it, and here I am sobbing not even two minutes in lol.
Same friend :(
I did 2. It gives me chills that one day I will forget this feeling
Me too the nostalgia :'((
1:53 BE HITTING DIFFERENT😭
Iroh's Speech is such an underrated piece. Like not only was it incredible as a speech, but the music as well was like a wind up to what was about to go down.
Growing up watching this show made me feel like a badass bender. Watching it as an adult shows me the true hidden meaning of each episdoe. Geared towards both adults and children to like, Avatar is a true gem of a tv show. I'm glad that my children will be able to live in a world that produces this level of art. And thanks to you, for making this. I tearbend thinking about it.
You. Are. A. Hero.
I have wanted Avatar the Last Airbender sheet music for forever. Thank you so much!
Zuko went from “need to capture the avatar to regain MY honor” to “please the real hero...is the avatar”
This entire thing made me feel so nostalgic but playing soldier boy at the end was sick man. I cried immediately.
5:02 well I'm depressed now. Rip Mako. You brought happiness to many lives

Ah yes Avatars love
This was absolutely incredible. As a musician, a music teacher, music lover, and massive Avatar fan, thank you for what you've done here. This brought so much joy to my heart to hear. You ended it perfectly by the way. The child inside me thanks you.
The feels though
It's 2021 and this Legendary masterpiece is still getting attention and brings people (of any age, and any ethnicity) a feel of deep nostalgia, and big happy smiles on their faces, thank you Michael Dante DiMartino and Brian Kunietzco (sorry for the misspelling).

“Aang could do it” 😂😂😂 Good try though
Is it weird that I got all weepy while listening to this? T_T the nostalgia of my childhood hits me right in the feels and I can't handle it... I want the sheet music. I can't play piano very well but mannnnn I'd practice this so hard until I could play it perfectly.
