I know this will be an “Unpopular Opinion”, but I’m going to say it anyway. I love the Fahrenheit line, way better than the Sauvage line
Dior made huge mistakes. I don’t know why, it’s really sad, but there is nothing left from the original DNA.

@@salmandudayev8259 They probably won’t. Fragrances just aren’t as “potent” as they used to be and I’m sure it’s expensive to keep the original formulation in production. It’s not just with this brand, most of the heavy hitters have reformulated their scents. Such a shame really, especially to those of us who enjoy fragrances
They don’t even relate. Of course Fahrenheit is a masterpiece and way better 🙂

Considering how awful the parfum version is, I wouldn't have much hope for the elixir version. Some fragrances are best left as a lighter EDT version.

Bought the edt last year, loved it. Just got the parfum and it is amazing. The vanilla+violet is just beautiful.

The Original Fahrenheit was like the smell of the 90's... It reminds me of my childhood, and to me the 90's was the best years of many people's lives.
One the most mega unique perfume. Nothing smells like this. I have tried more than 100 perfumes. A real masterpiece. Timeless

I found a tester of Fahrenheit 32 in Sephora about a year ago. I immediately asked if they had a new one for sale, but they didn't. I offered to buy the tester and refused to 😒. The smell was incredible, too bad they wouldn't sell it to me.
I do own the EDT and Parfum, but don't wear them as much, unfortunately. I live in Miami, so they're not really suitable for the weather here.
I absolutely LOVE the Fahrenheit line. I own the original, Absolute, Parfum, and Cologne. Used to own Aqua Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit 32.

Most of the A Men line has perished. He probably won’t do Mugler. However Isseu Miyake is a great suggestion.
I have Le Parfum, Absolute and cologne. I don't wear them because I love them too much. They are my collectors items. When I do wear them, they are just amazing💯👊😎
Which one you find to be the better one of the two? Le parfum or absolute?
How things change. The original fragrance was getting clowned 8 to ten years ago. My buddy was mocked by the counter attendant at Macy’s when he asked for it and was told he will find it at his local pharmacy.

32 really kind of departs from the Fahrenheit DNA. Has the feel but comes across as snow on the ground. Absolute is my personal favorite. Managed to score 2 bottles before prices got ridiculous. That one is in my personal top 10 from the fragrances I've smelled
Parfum....and I'm done! I owned the OG when I was in high school. Loved it but it was hit or miss with the girls. Glad I bought the Parfum, my wife enjoys it this time of year 🥶
The vintage is a classic.
That's what got me interested in fragrance. I didn't get into fragrance enough to remember it was Dior.
It was one of the first ones I bought, last year, when I really got into fragrance.
I bought the new one in the big bottle. It sucked so bad.
I got a 75% full vintage bottle. That was the heat. Always has been. Boom. Og vintage farenheit.

fahrenheit was one of my first teen smells because my uncles did wear it even tho its more of an 'old man smell'. its so nostalgic for me
It's acutally becoming harder to get your hands on the EDP. Even on the common perfumerys (at least in germany) it's out of stock. Same for the common online stores. It's probably slowly dissapearing from the market
Le Parfum is one of my alltime favorites! Truly amazing. But I miss 32

They really need to release a flanker of this that ups the gasoline note to 90s levels. They could call it "Fahrenheit 1988" or "Fahrenheit Original" ... whatever I don't care, but that's what ppl want

I just scored a bottle of aqua for retail at my local kiosk that has been in the mall for 25 years. He has so many gems. The twist cap on aqua because it’s lighter and made to be like a splash bottle. Personally I’ll never do that.

I just picked up Mercedes Benz intense and it smells very close to Fahrenheit without the gasoline opening
My brothers signature fragrance is EDT. Is it worth to buy him the Le Parfum version as a gift? or just buy the edt?
Unfortunately, that first bottle is a fake :/
Glass bottom is too thick and "Dior" lettering should be above that bottom line.
Also "Fahrenheit" lettering is to tight and tint of the bottle is too harsh.
Original bottle has much more delicate color gradation.

Batch code "8348" is also not correct.
It should be more like "8A02", where:
-8 is a year (2018)
-A is a month (January)
-02 means that it is the second batch of that month..
03 would be a third batch, 04 a fourth batch, ect.
So "8348" is a bad joke... :/
Whether you're right or not (I'm no expert so that's why I say whether) that's a damn good observation.
Could be 8E4B. Sometimes hard to tell a difference between letters and numbers on those glass bottles.
Also the atomizer isn’t as smooth as dior atomizers usually are
I love Fahrenheit Parfum! It's like a more complex, sophisticated and refined version of the original.
The Sauvage line is boring and the Elixir has nothing to do in that line.

I got only The Parfum version. All others I already went through. I got my first Fahrenheit when it was released 1988. Went through all classics and they are not the same (today's versions) 😊
32 is kind of an exception imo. It's fucking fire doesn't need to be better than the OG tho 🙏
Im a perfumer. I normally make my own creations but I'm a huge fan so created a tribute clone with grass tincture, actual petrol, vanilla Violet, rum orange blossom mandarin and aquatic notes. It's ultra light while being heavy with the petrol tincture.

Fahrenheit is one of those frags that gets really divisive with the reformulation thing, ignoring and just straight dissing that is basically ignoring the whole shebang of the fragrance.
Although i agree it's silly that companies use the same name or price bracket rather than using another name, or flanker, to continue rather than gaslighting the customer.

I have no idea how people get gas and diesel smell from this. I have decent scent collection, and still after all these years and different makers, this (the OG) is THE BEST (so is the parfum).

Just scored fahrenheit le parfum, only 30 percent used for less than 90 bucks. I'm so damn happy to finally score this one!!!!
On the (Parfum) version iget 12+hrs. The original & of course a weaker version, iget around 6/7hrs.

The first time I smelled Fahrenheit in a Sephora I hated it, I thought it smelled like rotting garbage. Recently I got curious and got a sample and...I kind of like it. I don't know if it's because it's from a small sample rather than a full spray do it's not that strong, or because I was smelling it next to other fragrances, or the time of year, or if my preferences have just changed, but it's really pleasant to me now. I'll keep testing it but I might put it on my shopping list 👁👃🏾👁

Have 2020 batch of le parfum, it last really long time but its like a skin scent....either i cant smell it or it was reformulated.
Would guess the first one because there are some others perfumes like Bentley for men absolute or Rasasi sootor waaw i also cant smell very well but other people say are really strong. Anyone with similar experience?
Yeah I think it’s called a term like “nose fatigue” or something, because that strong smell is overloading your nose so you kinda get used to it but other people will still smell it
I haven't smelt any of them. But I do own, and love, Mercedes Benz Intense and I guess people say it smells like Fahrenheit.

On my bottle of Fahrenheit .. It's Christian Dior, not just Dior, so it must of been reformulated. I have a bottle of Fahrenheit 32 from 2011 .. Wish it wasn't discontinued.

I still have my 1989 bottle with about 30ml left … it smells like gasoline and cedar from a hot sauna and smells like a boss.
Modern Fahrenheit EDT smells nice and I will pick up a bottle after sampling it again recently …
But it is WAY tamer, less polarizing, compared to the original batches. Which I am sure many would appreciate, especially if you already complain about the gasoline smell of the new stuff
So when someone talks about the original DNA, think about the glorious juice from the late 80s. The new stuff is great but it is so different from the original. :)

Dior eau sauvage edt is the best ever fragrance for men from dior and one of the best fragrances for men ever.

Dior Fahrenheit smashes Sauvage. But that may be down to my age. Again, Fahrenheit Parfum smashes Sauvage ETP & Parfum. The only Sauvage I would say competes is Elixir.

I had absolute last year, ended up trading it with a buddy of mine. The performance on my bottle of absolute sucked. It lasted maybe 5 hrs. I didn't care to much for how it smelled either.
