- This tractor has been sitting for who knows how long (my guess is 15 to 20 years). It has lichen and moss growing everywhere, and a cute little fern peeking out from inside the exhaust pipe.
My plan is to get this thing running and driving again. Come along for the ride.
TO-20 tractors were made from 1948 to 1951, at which time they were replaced with the TO-30. The engine is a four-cylinder Continental Z120, displacing 120 cubic inches and having around 20 horsepower. - บันเทิง
Good man... that started really nicely.. it sounds so smooth too...
That's one of the coolest starting options I've ever seen lol, great job on the tractor! Machinery like this deserve more than to just be a rusty yard ornament. 👍
I agree totally. I'm also surprised more tractor makers didn't employ a neutral start feature. My '55 Ferguson TO-35 has the neutral start switch on the hi/lo auxiliary transmission. A lot of people bypass these neutral switches when they go bad. In my opinion it gives the tractor more character if the safety switch is still working, not to mention the added safety benefit.
Sounds great for yard art and you are lucky the guy had put oil in the cylinders
u a Star!
You are a legend great work 👏
The carburetor on my D7 pony motor. Had to be cleaned with muraitc acid
My Dad had a TEA 20
That was impressive.Whats next with this old gal.
All things considered, the tractor is in pretty good shape. The radiator is completely clogged so that is the next step. I'll change fluids, then get all the growth off the sheet metal, then maybe a quick coat of paint. It deserves some much needed TLC.
TO..Tractor Overseas market. The fact that after sitting derelict for decades and springing back to life is a testament to the engineering design and quality at Banner Lane Coventry where she was produced. Such an embarrassment that the factory closed and is now a bland housing estate.
Generator or water pump bearings
Yep, it's the generator. The water pump was silky smooth, but the seal is leaking.... sigh.
I just found you & watched your Bradford sewing machine video. How can I contact you?
You can email me at .........@gmail.com. I no longer have the Bradford though.
