NEMF runs ISM's in their trucks and my old fire department just got a 2000 kme with a ISM 400

@ I would for the mileage but I would look more into the 60 series DDEC 4 per EGR but you won’t be disappointed in the ISM either one is a good thing

Can you find Detroit 60 11.1 liter? 🤔 for my experience the ISM 10.8 is a good reliable engine as long as you have a true Jake brake on them not the PAC brake

Bigger Turbo on an ISM go for it! The C12 is a great motor but they get rid of them 2003. My other FD has a C12 MBL 2001 and sadly parts are becoming more expensive
