    We brewed this the other day and it's REALLY good. The only comments I'd have is that the PB2 probably makes a difference. We used PB&Me and it's got way more of a peanut shell flavour than peanut butter. Also we didn't use the Reeses breakfast cereal and I'd put money on that having an impact on the lack of Peanut flavour. Overall a 10/10 but next time we'll use the correct ingredients and maybe even consider some PB flavouring. Oh and FYI expect a lot of loss on this brew. The gunk at the bottom of the fermentor is about 20% of the total volume, due to the PB powder I'd guess!

    We just did a peanut butter cup stout using an extract for the peanut butter flavor. The base was a great! Rich chocolate roasted notes with a creamy mouth feel, but after adding the extract it became watery, and lifeless. The peanut butter aroma is out of this world, but it lacks in flavor. Anything along those lines happen with your beer using powder?

    • @TheBruSho
      @TheBruSho  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow interesting. I had thought about using extract but read so many people liked the way the powder worked. And I agree it turned out really good both on aroma and flavor. And it seems to be sticking around for quite a while. I say give that a try next time!
