Funnily enough, the Belgian golden strong ale is the whole reason I got into homebrewing. I had one when I was out of town and haven't been able to find any locally, so I thought "I wonder if I can recreate that?" And I've been brewing ever since. Love the content. Someday I hope I get to brew on your system! Stovetop and kettle it is for me for now
As a belgian (Namur) I really appreciate your videos and the analysis of your homemade beer at the end (wish i could taste it), it is true we have some good strong ales in belgium but most of our beers outside of the pilsners beers are usually higher in alcohol content because the drinking culture isnt the same here :) Smaller volume, more alcohol content, emphasis on the taste. Cheers :)
After watching your videos for the past few years, I finally saved up enough 💰 and ordered my 20 gallon 240v system! I cant wait for it to arrive Monday. How do i get hooked up with one of those killer hats Kyle & Emmet? 😉
"My first batch was really shitty " That's how we all started brother. Mine was straight up poison. My body rejected that so fast and iv eaten fermented fish.
THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE TO BREW. I perfected my own recipe of the Belgian Blonde Strong Ale for my wife and our wedding. This was my third version which I borrowed notes and additions from a master brewer and my cousin who's won several brew competitions on the west coast. I'm happy to share with you my 13abv BondSki (yes my wife is Polish) custom recipe that left many blacked out after our wedding night which I provided 13 gallons. (They all report no hangover, just angry wives.) Let me know where to send the email????
I love Emmet's philosophy about home brewing, more people should think like him. Just have fun! Awesome collab
Love to see some of the old brew content back. Keep
It coming !

Nice! Hollar if you have any questions and make sure to send some pics of what you brew. We only made a few hats. Should we stock them and sell em?
For sure! @ClawhammerSupply
Dammit! Now you come out with the embossed kettle markings...lol I can barely read my etched markings anymore.

If you’re using honey for at least 50% of your fermentable sugars then it is a braggot not a beer
@@rednecksniper4715 it was only 20% honey, 80% Pilsner malt
