- MB200 minibike Top speed with a Mikuni carburetor and header pipe
Did a top speed run and a 0 to 30 test on the Massimo MB 200 minibike 196cc
to get a baseline for future modifications.
The minibike has the governor removed a Mikuni style carburetor and a header pipe

Yes man I been waiting on this video for ever lol I have a group and we all ride mb200 with torque converters and straight pipe Gov delete and we are doing 45 to 50 mph . I love to see some more of the mb200
You guys have those bikes moving out pretty good ! That MB200 is a sweet bike. I’ll keep doing content with it . I just have to figure out what to do next .
@@Black66 I would like to see a comparison between a Tillotson 212 with a torque converter and a predator 212 torque converter
@@joeyornelas4316 ok I’ll do it !
I would like to do that one .
I have this exact same bike I bought from Costco for 599+ tax. Just with the throttle screw backed out and the governor zip tied I was able to get 32 with 20psi in the tires at 250lbs bike is bone stock. I have a .036 jet and emulsion tube going in it tomorrow hoping for 33-34mph. I would LOVE if you’d slap the tailors on 212 on here and demo it in a video
@@562jamesj Yours is moving out pretty well! Especially with the weight! I have more videos coming up with this bike.
Well done. Another Test platform! Cuz science!
Yes!!
We have to test it
Cool bike I love it
either hot rod the motor (increase stroke and compression, bigger cam and heads) that's already on it, or get something like a Tillotson 72mm race block and build up a 228 or 236
Torque trumpet baby!! Sounds killer. Great color choice.
Thanks ! I like that trumpet 🎺
Thats a badass bike man
Thanks! Ya, it's pretty cool.
@@Black66 definitly can use some flames mabey blue flames
@@SpACeCruizeR2o3 Ya, that would work !
That pull start/blower cover is pretty cool. I like the bike overall
Now it is time for improvements
Yes it is !
I have a MB200 with a predator 212 on it. I went froma 50 tooth to a 60 tooth and now just bought a slide carb, Hoping to pick up some horses. My top speed is 32 I weigh 220. I know I'd I lost more weight ill go faster. Very comfortable to ride...I'd send ya pics but... fun bike
I would go back to the 50 tooth and do a torque converter on it and u would hit 45 or 50
I did 31mph at 265lbs on this bike almost stock just with a .032 jet and zipped governer
Brother in law bought one of these about a month ago put my bone stock 212e and a cheap Amazon torque converter he getting 47 on it
I ordered a 212R tilly for my Massimo mb200 today. I get 31mph bone stock with just a .032 jet and gov zip tie trick
Oh ya! That thing is going to move out with that Tilly!
Hey man nice vid, the header pipe go power sports link does not work in ur description and I can’t seem to find it. Could you provide another link by chance please?
A new link www.gopowersports.com/header-pipe-coleman-200-mega-moto-212-w-gasket/
@@Black66thanks, also if u mind me asking, I have the same mini bike and I rejetted the carb out a simple gopower sports air filter and header pipe and took out external governor and it seems to have gotten slower somehow from the stock speed, do you have any advice?
I’m debating between the massimo or the trailmaster mb200. I like that the trailmaster has a tie down rail but I hate that it’s blue. I’m really liking that the massimo has a sand or grey option. What do you think is the better bike for pretty much the same price?
I think they are both nice bikes. They both are really good riding bikes .The Trailmaster has rear suspension.
That could be a deciding factor if you trail ride .
If not , then either one would work for me.
@@Black66 eh I ended up just buying a black ct200u for the fun factor.. and it being half the cost haha
@@Flockingtheherd Nothing wrong with that. My CT200U is one of my favorite bikes.
I want to put s go power sports hot 265 cam in my massimo 196cc mb warrior 200 project can't find any information on it. Have you don't anything to your massimo 196cc besides the carb and exhaust?
> I live in the same town and have 2 bt200x. One with a 212 predator and the other with the 196. Both have mikuni carbs and the 212 has a straight pipe exhaust. My 212 won't seem to fire anymore and it's brand new out of the box. (I followed directions) please please please help me out I'd like to bring you my bikes and see if maybe you could get them in tip top shape! You are for sure the guy who knows small motor!!!! I'm a fan of the page and have been for a while (Of course I'd love to pay for you're time)
Thanks! I'm super busy right now moving.
Have you tried disconnecting the oil sensor from the kill switch? Maybe the kill switch is grounded out?
Check the simple stuff first like spark and fuel
I just got one of these a few days ago. It’s not as pretty as yours but it has a new 212 predator engine and I’ll get it looking good again with about $100 in new parts and some spray paint.
Oh ya, it will be sweet with that Predator on there!
I'm in the process of installing a Stage 2 Kit on mine. So far I got the Non EPA style Carb on and the Header Pipe and also the Air Filter but the stupid Filter ripped as I was trying to twist it onto the adapter lol. Now I temporarily slapped some duct tape over the torn part. But once I got the carb screws adjusted it did feel noticably more powerful. I just screwed up the throttle spring trying to bypass the governor and now it won't return to idle when I let off the gas. So I ordered a new spring for it which I'm waiting on now. I also ordered a Racing Spark Plug for it. AR3910X Racing Spark Plug to be exact. Just curious if you have ever tried using one of these racing plugs on any of your mini bikes before ? If so is there a noticable difference ?
Awesome ! Sounds like you are having fun with it . To me that’s what it’s all about . Having fun with this stuff. According to a couple of the kart shops that have a dyno there is a difference .
Im not sure about seat of the pants difference . I haven’t tested it yet.
The AR3910x spark plugs is a good upgrade. Definitely can tell the difference on a predators 212.
Did you do a Main jet change
Yes, I have a few videos on this bike. Here is the link to one of them th-cam.com/video/NnYVyMT3tPM/w-d-xo.html
Bro how does it sound without the trumpet end vs with the trumpet end? Also Vs the tiny muffler you had in the long/short pipe video? Thanks!
Its just a little quieter. The tone is a little different too
Love your channel. Getting me hooked on mini bikes!! I don't see much on my bike. I just bought a Coleman B200R from Tractor Supply. Zip Tied the gov and remove the throttle stop. Plan to do a header pipe, carburetor and air intake. Seems cross over pipe would work best. If I get Mikuni Carb, I can eliminate the governor externals without having to remove the internal governor components? any other quick and easy mods you would recommend for this bike?
Thats too funny for me it started 3 years ago with picking up an azusa mini kit 5 inch wheels off person who already built up a stage 1 predator for 350 and been a ton of fun but 4 kids they all take turns riding so last week I picked up a bt200x with stage 1 and tav tc for 600 than today I couldn't help it I spotted an add up for less than 13 mins for a completely redone Baja with stage 2 pred non hemi for 400 so my wife is now pissed and said why do we need 3 mini bikes my reply honey we have 4 kids I'm still short 2 bikes well she served me divorce papers 23 mins ago 😉 lol
Hey I got a mb165 baja and want to get an upgraded carb. Does anyone know if a nibbi 24 mm will fit
Yes it will . You need either a slip on intake or a flange intake like from a VM22 depending on what style carb you get.
Would keeping it stock not blow it up?
I have the same one but different color and trying to strait chain mine I've almost got it but my brake keeps separating from my back wheel, and I need to cut some metal pieces off so my chain doesn't touch metal and add some washers and etc... its alot of work but you could potentially gain even more speed that way! I haven't taken any of my governors off but I have adjusted 1 and gained a bit of speed
Yes, I straight chained this bike. It got a lot faster! th-cam.com/video/jHf9yJmaZLA/w-d-xo.html
Anymore videos coming soon with the upgraded mb200. I have one and it has non-epa style carburetor bored out 140 emulsion tube with .34 or .37 jet. 8 degree advance timing key. 18 lb valve springs, open header angled air filter, and also governor delete. I’m doing 39 mph. I have a torque converter that I haven’t installed yet. I also have 20psi in my tires. Is there anything else I can do to get it up to 45 or 50 or Even more. If I put the torque converter on, do you think I can reach those speeds!
I have been waiting patiently for an updated mb200 upgrade. I like your charts appreciate you
Thanks, yes I have a couple videos coming out in the next week or so with the MB200 and more to come after that. I have a few more things I'm gonna try on it to see if I can get it past 40 MPH without the converter. If you check out the Coleman CT200U playlist you will see the Coleman 196 did around 47 -50 MPH with a torque converter and a Juggernaut driver. The MB200 could be similar. I'm gonna find out here soon. I'll do some follow up to videos to the ones coming out. th-cam.com/video/YPpR91lpkVA/w-d-xo.html
@@Black66 okay, appreciate you. Keep on bringing us these informative videos.
Great stuff too cool
Love mine for checking fences...on another note, that's a bible cyst on four arm. Just put it on a table and smack it with a large book.
Hello can you please review the Coleman utvs at your tractor supply??
I would like too
@@Black66 Okay awesome thanks!
How about A 301 predator
Hello Black66 where did you get the carb and header pipe from ? Is it a real Mikuni or Knock off ?
The link is in the description. It's a Knock off carb. The pipe is Coleman CT200U pipe
Thank you Black66 much appreciated!

@@Black66 thanks yea im in florida im running a 120 stock engine just governor removed and 22lbs valve springs but i cant get it to stop sputtering
@@worldoffutbol1 Have you tried the steps in this video?
th-cam.com/video/MnQvIlFX8hM/w-d-xo.html
How about seeing what setup gives you the best 0-30 time? Under 3 seconds would be pretty impressive!
I'm gonna do some more videos with this bike pretty soon. I'll try and make it quicker
I just installed a carburetor, I can’t get it to start, everything works, like spark and stuff, any help on why I can’t start it?
Depending on your carburetor, the gas might be gravity fed through the little hose so it might not be getting enough fuel so you can shorten the hose. If that’s not the problem just try and tune the carburetor, like the air screw and stuff and it should work but be careful when you turn it on after tuning it because the bike might try and take off
Buy a t225rs block and piston set. Install a 265 cam and use everything else from that motor, that you can. Be the cheaper way to upgrade power, I think.
Is that cover hiding a TAV or clutch?
It has a jack shaft
Add a torque converter with a Juggernaut. Then check your 0-30. Its hard to keep the front wheel down on my Baja with this set up.
I know what you mean. I have a Juggernaut on the Coleman CC200U -EX
@@Black66 with the Jugg and TC on the Coleman are you running a 10 tooth up front and 50 out back? What gear ratio do you have on it. Mine is struggling with the 10 tooth and 5:1. I got an 8T and a 9T front coming should put me at 5.5 for the 9T and 6.25 for the 8T.
@@562jamesj Ya, it's a ten-up front. That 8t and 9t should really help yours out.
I'm skinny. I can get away with a lot of gear lol
@@Black66 haha true thanks brotha I got a 9 and an 8 on the way! Time to do some test and tune time!
I was gonna get that massimo for Christmas but since not, I think it only goes like 27 in stock
Ya, it is pretty slow stock. But it's easy to get into the '40s with just a couple mods. I have some videos coming out on it.
you can get over 30mph out of it with just zip tying the governor and backing out the throttle limit screw. 10 min of work and bike goes from 19mph stock to 30mph
@@562jamesj When I got this bike it already had a slide carburetor on it. I've been working with that, messing with the jetting and slide adjustment. I have a couple more videos coming out with it. It actually runs a lot better now.
@@Black66 I’m looking forward to the videos!
@@562jamesj Ill post them pretty soon. I've been working on it.
What mikuni carb is that
VM22, same carb I use on a lot of bikes on the channel...th-cam.com/video/jHf9yJmaZLA/w-d-xo.html
Put a tilly 228 from EC Carburetors
Oh ya, I would really like to do that !
@@Black66 I’m telling you bro that’s the way to go
No rear shocks though, must be an older model. I assume you stole it?
It's a Massimo MB200. They don't have rear shocks like the Trailmaster. The pipe is Coleman CT200 pipe. The carburetor is a knockoff you can get on amazon. I have the links in the description of the video. I got the bike in a trade.
But doesn’t removing the gov make the bike explode?!
Take the bike on a 50 mile ride one day
Good idea!
Bet it rides like a Cadillac
Man , you are right ! This is the smoothest riding bike so far .
Can i have a mini bike
I’ll probably end up giving one or two away on the channel
Put a 670 on it.
Very slow
Slow is the way to go...
