Great Video I’ve recently bought a torque converter for my ct200u ex 196 and i had to put a 3/4 shaft over my oringnal and it seems to stick out a little would that matter at all
Hey got the same bike swapped a predator 212 with torque converter on it made custom riser plate the also moves the motor to the right about 1/2 inch to align the sprockets better and I’m having some issues with the chain hitting the tab welded on the frame for the swing arm do you have an issue like that at all?
Hi I recently purchased the bike. But the last owner did not know how to put the torque converter on. He added some time of spacer now I can't get it of can u pleas help
I keep ordering the wrong driver pulley, what’s the correct crankshaft size for the torque converter driver pulley? I been stuck on this project for a while. Also what’s the correct crankshaft bolt size? Me and my dad have the same bike , he’s str8 chaining his and I’m installing a torque converter
If you figured it out and let me know cuz I'm going through the exact same problem now the driver pulley doesn't have anywhere to screw the bolt into on the end and I'm thinking about doing the straight chain on that instead but I don't know if it's going to be as fast. Let me know what worked out for you guys please been dealing with this for months now..
Im running into a issue with the chain hitting the torque converter wheel causing the chain to pop off and damage the converter, if anyone has or had this issue please lmk i am stumped on this
I need someone like this to modify mine I have the same one . I opened the throttle all the way, about to by a stage kit that I need installed, and need to take the speed govener
I bypassed the govner by putting a vm22 carb on just don't full throttle all the whole time til you remove the internal govner but I got mine to hit 32 I stead of the shitty 25

Wow, your video is the best, most helpfull, no nonsense, to the point production I've seen. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey my friend, Dale here. Love the wheelie :) . I did same upgrade, but I used the slanted riser plate. Great vid !
I put the link to the plate in the video description. Thanks for your help with this one!!
Did you have any chain alignment issues?

Did you install it? Any issues?

I didn’t have that issue, but it is tricky to get it to all work. You can’t lift too much. I lifted 1.25 inches and moved forward about an inch.
I just order the riser mount and torque converter. I hope I don't have chain alignment issues.

What do you mean? The driver pulley should bolt to the engine shaft right? Is your engine different than his?
Could he have just used the original back plate like he did with the coleman?
Did you have issues with chain alignment?
I had no issues, but Dale Sisson did. Join the MB200S Facebook group linked in the video description and connect with him.
What’s the size of the drive shaft? I got a 3/4 torque converter and the sleeve is too big and doesn’t grab
What bike were you trying to put this on?

Look for someone that does lawnmower repair. They can handle this project easily.

And that's with out the torque converter
How much are the bikes and modifications? Roughly...
I paid 700 for mini and 60 for TC
Can a torque converter be added to the MB100?
I have never done that, but probably yes.
Is that a 3/4 inch shaft? Is the top speed faster after torque converter?
It's a 5/8th Shaft
@@Connors_Engines No it's 3/4". The only 196 with 5/8" (actually 16mm) is the Hisun 196 used on the Coleman bikes. All other 196's are 3/4".
