Yo man I love the videos love to watch them and learn about this engine and I wanted to know where you got your throttle cable from and how long it is?
So basically, I got a Predator ghost a couple weeks back and with the fuel pump I had to buy for it the gas tank won’t fit so I’m wondering what gas tank you have in the video also, I tried starting it today and gas came leaking out of that air filter on the carburetor when the choke was on so I took the carb apart and adjusted the float a little bit and it stopped leaking, but now it won’t turn on. sometimes it’ll start up for a little bit and then just sputter right out. It’s a brand new engine brand new carburetor, brand new everything so I don’t see how the carb could be clogged up with anything I could have it wired wrong but I don’t know.
I know this is an old video but I hope you do see it, you need to adjust your carbs needle because you have some mid RPM hesitation, when you're doing the top speed run I can hear it hesitate like right in the middle and then once you hit I think 38 mph that's when it started picking up and sounding better and healthier.
I have a coleman bt200x wanted something a little more faster. If iput a 212cc ghost engine would it be alright with my stock jackshaft.and what exhaust pipe could i use?
Hey what size throttle cable do you use because I have ordered multiple throttle cables and none of them have been long enough on the outside to link up to my bike and the part where you put it in the carburetor
Does your predator seem to have a lot of vibration in the upper idle to mid rpm range (2k-4k)? Just curious if it's just my predator but mine seems to run really smooth at idle and at the top end but vibrates a lot in between
This may sound crazy but check your wheels and tires. Make sure they're not somehow out of round, your tires don't have any bubbles, flat spots, or uneven wear on the tread. Also check your wheel bearings for play. It's coming from an unbalanced rotational force, but the range it's happening makes me think it's closer to where the power meets the ground. Run it at the range where it vibrates the absolute worst, hold it there for a second, and then kill the engine. If the vibration immediately stops, its your engine. If it tapers off evenly as your wheel speed decreases, it's elsewhere.
@Remington Steel some of those castings are questionable, and I've seen videos of flywheels exploding. It's hard to judge what one person considers "excessive" and what's normal without putting one's own hands on It.. And even CNC Machined parts can have defects.
@@jesse1136 Wheels are reasonably balanced after resolving issues with the back tire. That issue was more of a wobble than anything else.
