- Solo travel with me in New York City! So much to see, so much to do! This was my first time in New York City and my first time solo travelling to a completely new and unfamiliar place. It made me fall in love with solo travel and the freedom I felt was unmatched!!I loved being in a big city and just observing and exploring. It forced me into a lot of presence and took me out of my head which was so refreshing. Super excited to share these moments with you!! I hope you enjoy xx

From where your air bnb was located, how much travel time did you spend everyday? I’m coming in January and just wanted to see if I should stay in Brooklyn or Manhattan.
It depended on where I was going but I loved staying in Brooklyn! It felt more open and airy than Manhattan. Less like a busy city if that makes sense.
im going to new york in may solo - just wondering if you went out in the evenings/went to any bars, clubs or shows, and if you did, did you feel safe doing so?

Heyy! I went to Zinc Bar one evening to see a jazz show (would highly recommend). I went with a friend but the vibes were definitely solo friendly!!

yess absolutely! Whenever I solo travel somewhere, I make sure I research the neighbourhood I'm staying in and that I have an understanding of my bearings so that I don't appear lost and vulnerable. Hope this helps xx
