It feels like you've created a lovely documentary on making sacred Ireland your home and the importance of our relationship to our neighbors, our family including our animals and the relationship we nurture with our home and the sacred land we are blessed to live upon.

Border collies can't help themselves😂 I got my old border collie from a farm in Charlesworth many years ago. We went back with him for a visit & whilst we were stood in the farm yard talking, he rounded up all the chickens & put them in the coop & sat there watching so they couldn't escape😂😂 The farmer & his wife had their backs to what had been going on. I said, I think we'd better go, to give you & your chickens some peace & pointed behind them. They looked astonished/amazed when they saw what he'd done & they asked did I work him? I said no, he's just a pet. The farmer then offered to buy him back as he was "a natural"😂😂 Obviously he stayed with me

Thankyou for being a animals lover and how you treat your pets!!!! The homestead is picking up. Lots getting done and its going to be beautiful!!!! As for the size, people do not need as much stuff as advertised. Small is cozy and if you do the decorations the way the person of the room likes it, all is good. Keeping it simple is smart. A room to be alone and to rest your head, then a great living room and a hospitable kitchen is a HOME, not a designer award winning manolith cruise ship full of expensive junk.

Hello again from North East Scotland. What a fantastic Q & A video, loved it. Very different to the “usual” ones I’ve watched. Great job with the editing Becca. Loved listening to Gabriel, reminded me of my Great Granda, who was Irish. He moved himself and the family (six children) to Scotland when his first wife died. Euan did very well in his part of the video. Hope you had a nice break, back in the UK. Looking forward to seeing more updates. Bye the noo!! 👋👋

Everything is just coming along so so wonderfully your hard work is paying off. The lime render sounds beautiful in the lounge. Also, it will reflect light and make the room much brighter. and it’s also nothing like walking into a room in an Irish cottage where you have the walls rendered. It takes you to another place and time so beautiful.

I’ve never been there maybe someday, but where you’re sitting right now with that bench and tree behind you and the beautiful ferns your reminds me of what I dreamed when I was little of fairies and a fairy garden maybe you guys could build some little fairy houses and put them around that bench that would be quaint. I love that you have bought into the airtightness concept, we did too and continue to fine tune it (once we get our builder back !!!). Just as an extra to think about, we put the concrete to plasterboard tape (the Siga tape in our reno), from the floor to the plasterboard and then put a silicone paint over that to stop draughts. We also did the same around studwork. We also have a Ventaxia MVHR. The one thing that puzzles me is to do all that airtightness work and then put a chimney in as well ? We have two 1960s legacy chimneys, one of which is sealed, but the other, my wife insists that it remains an open fireplace, even though we haven't lit it in 25 years (I know, I know)....

Hello, I have been watching since you were searching for a place in Ireland. The toilet in the field episode. I have some Irish convicts buried down the road from me. (I am in Australia) One was a mason builder. I like to imagine he built your house or similar. Some of our buildings around our town. I hope I bought an acre of his land. I have researched him (the convict) and his family. I have found the building and your way of life wonderful. I love your dogs, mostly the little one. I find the contrast interesting.... I think, "Oh watch out, there would be a snake under there!" My grandfather was Irish and I wonder about his life too. Thank you for your videos it keeps my imagination alive and my interest in stone buildings and convicts fed.
