Thank you, but for the paint you were using, you needed to thin it to get the correct atomization.

Always been curious, when using things like this, does one use MORE paint, versus a paint brush?
Also, I know we can hear the unit on camera, but, do you think it is 'noisy' or?
Thanks for the breakdown. Our door is painted black, too. Been that way for 2 years. The builder did not sand the door down properly, prior to paining it.
PS: with the door closed, did you also paint the edges that rest against the door framing? That's the concern I have for our door. When it was painted the first time, the building closed the door before the paint properly dried. So, now you have missing spots of black paint, along the edge of the door.

Thank you for the comment! Yes sorry it was a little noisy cus of the microphone but it was definitely below 85 Decibels and tolerable, but I would wear ear plugs just so you don’t get tired of that airy noise.
I had to touch up the inside corners because it stuck to the door seal lol, I did a quick touch up and then i used a blow dryer to allow it to quick dry. The old owner of the house painted over the weather stripping so that stuck to the door. Now I’ll be making a video on how to replace that painted door seal 😂

Which one did you choose? Also, why not the Super max Home Right, just the regular one?

Any chance you can do a video on preparing the paint for this device? What methods do you use for thinning it out if it’s too thick?

Hi! You can easily thin paint with water, medium, acetone, turpentine, flow-aid, or paint-thinner. The ratio you should utilize is a 4:1 ratio of paint to thinning-agent, adding small amounts and gradually thinning until the desired effect is achieved

One gallon of pain add half a cup of water

Maybe do an update…I’ve used several of these airless painters for small projects. Different temperatures, brand & type of paint can affect the viscosity of the paint. It’s also a good idea to use a paint strainer. I’ve painted my exterior doors on the hinge, I use a paint sponge & outline the door, use a hair dryer to dry it, put painters tape around the door frame, get your paint stirred, check viscosity, strain paint, assemble painter….close the door then paint. I live on an island, the salt is brutal on any metal doors & need to be painted every couple of years. The outside temperature & humidity will affect how long & how good your project turns out.

@nathanjames1514 // funny, you mentioned specifically a "garden shed. "...I just painted by cabinets and my garden shed, (I went spray paint crazy) so yes, it's perfect for anything indoors and outdoors, in my opinion. I love mine. It is so easy to handle, and most of all, clean up is a breeze. I wanted to come back and add ..all these reviews regarding adding water to thin the paint. This particular sprayer comes with everything you need to see if you need to add a little water or not. It's super easy. Any questions feel free to ask.

That sprayer looks like it's more for a DIY than a pro . Also, because you painted the door closed, it will leave a 1/4" white strip of white, all around the door where the paint couldn't reach . It's better to crack the door open a little so the face of door isn't touching the weatherstripping and mask so paint doesn't spray into the house and door jambs .
