Ohhhh thank you! I know this was very short and succinct video, but I promise this is EXACTLY what I needed. From your list, I believe I'd do better with the Magnesium Glycinate, as I experience a lot of restlessness, anxiety, blood sugar inconsistencies, and lack of sleep but no issues w/constipation, as the magnesium citrate seems to help with more. I have acutely low vitamin D and saw somewhere it doesn't work as effectively if you don't have magnesium of some sort. I am going to try to combine/increase my intake of these two along with the vitamin B6 mentioned here. Also, now I understand why my mom would ask me to pick up her some magnesium citrate, as she has most of the symptoms that fall under that one. Leg cramps, constipation etc. A million thanks!

So should i put one fizzy carbonate tablet in water and put citruc acid with it or lemon? Is that going to change magnesium into a citrate form? Dr. Berg, I just started taking your electrolyte powder, and love it! Also, I ordered your regular sleep aid and I’m hoping to get it today, because I have trouble sleeping, either falling asleep or waking up too early, etc. I’m 66 years old and have been postmenopausal since the age of 50, when I had a total hysterectomy followed by surgically induced menopause. I’ve never taken any hormones, and am not on any prescription medication. I try to only take vitamins and other supplements. I am currently doing a ketogenic diet since May 17, and I am exercising about 5 to 7 hours a week. I need to lose more weight, and am mostly needing to know which of your supplements to take. So far, I’ve only ordered the electrolyte powder and the sleep aid. Is there anything else that I need, and I’m especially wondering about multivitamins, magnesium, and CoQ10. Thank you so much!

Hey Dr Berg, I am a huge fan of yours! Random question for you. Seems like you have recommended Magnesium to many of your clients. I have been on 120 Mg of Pure encapilcaitons glycinate. I want to increase sleep quality, reduce stress(even though it is much better than it was), and increase energy. This is the question. I know we need 300-400 mg of magnesium. I tried to take more. I did 240 one day then got up to about 350mg. I know this must be very uncommon but it increased my anxiety. It was like it turned on the fight or flight mode and then when I backed off it the next few days things got better. Most days my anxiety is a 2-3 but it got up to an 8 and nothing stressful was going on. I saw a few people saying this when I was reading some Amazon reviews. I take an Omega 3, 2000-3000 Iu of Vitamin d per day(including the amount in multi) and that's it. It is really odd. Maybe the mechanism of glycine is causing this? Any guesses? Obviously, there is no way to know for certain. :) Thanks in advance!

Hi I have watched many of your videos and find them quite eye-opening, interesting and informative.
What I would like to ask you is - I have epilepsy and was suggested that magnesium L-threonate may be a help to me and possibly/hopefully get me out of seizure medication. Or is there another type of mineral or vitamin that you might suggest.
I would like to find out what would be the maximum amount of magnesium and what time(s) of the day to take it. I was taking 150 mg of magnesium citrate at lunch for my digestive system. 200 mgs of magnesium glicinate around 9 PM and another 200 mgs of magnesium glicinate when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I was taking the magnesium gliciinate for my sleep and epilepsy.
Also I could ask I have heard if you have GERD to avoid certain foods, but I am not sure if you should avoid them all day or can they be eaten in the morning or lunch. Also is there any written form somewhere that I could print.
    Thanks for your help Craig

What do you think of magnesium chloride?
Mixed in a greater than 1:1 solution with water it's called magnesium "oil". I find it useful applied to the skin above a cramping muscle.
I've also discovered that the 'oil' makes a decent deodorant - and using it for that gets me a bit more magnesium (I take 800mg / day of magnesium citrate)
I've tried magnesium sulphate (epsom salts) for cramping, doesn't work nearly as well, but the crystals are about a tenth the cost of magnesium chloride (I make my own 'oil') and it probably works about half as well - so maybe a good choice for someone trying not to spend a lot.
